Dr. Kenneth Slack, MD

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr.Slack! He is awesome! You will not be disappointed!

Absolute know-it-all that dismisses your concerns. Makes you feel stupid while expressing legitimate concerns. Seems to do well with delivering babies (here say) but beyond that he does not deal with other gyn issues well.

Dr. Slack was recommended to me when I was looking for a new provider since mine had retired. I made an appt and am very pleased with my new gynecologist.

Dr. Slack, Is really the first Dr. that I have been who actually listened to me about my health issues and helping me find the right ways to treat them. He is very informing and explains everything to me where it's easy for me to understand.

This was my first time meeting Dr. Slack after my previous physician retired. He did not rush me, spent plenty of time explaining test results, options and his recommendations. He allowed me time to process the information and discussed alternatives based on other medical issues. In addition, he talked with me about life outside of the medical setting as a way to make a connection. I would (snd already have) highly recommend him to others

Dr. Slack say and ask me if I had any concerns about my health before continuing with my exam. I find this caring technique above and beyond as some doctors don't do that anymore.

Dr. Slack is the most kind, considerate, and knowledgeable physician I have ever been privileged to know. He always takes his time explaining conditions and procedures and he really listens to my concerns. He understands my feelings and he just “gets” me. His office staff, Catherine in particular, are also outstanding! They always meet me with a smile and are also very caring. I don’t think I could find a better doctor in this area.

Dr Slack had wonderful reviews which is why I chose him. I had a personal issue and he made me feel so comfortable talking about it. He took his time, didn’t make me feel like my problem was insignificant. What seemed like an embarrassing subject for me- he just reassured me that I was not alone and he was going to do everything to make things better. I cannot say enough good about Dr Slack and his knowledge, care and compassion. Thank you Dr Slack!!

This is our second time using Dr. Slack during my pregnancy. I could not recommend him enough! He has always made my husband and I feel comfortable enough to ask any question that came to mind. He has given us piece of mind during both pregnancies. He truly cares about the safety of the mother and unborn child. He is willing to go above and beyond just to make sure everything is fine with the unborn child. If he has any doubts then he is willing to order another ultrasound or test just to (hopefully) rule out any issues. Dr. Slack has made both of my pregnancies be a great experience and for that I am forever grateful.

As an atheist you’d think I wouldn’t want a catholic hospital. As a SA and abuse survivor at the hands of men, you’d think I’d only feel comfortable with a female OB. But Dr Slack is professional, intelligent, capable, and kind. He goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable and he listens to you. The best dr I’ve ever had across the board! I will recommend him to everyone! He performed my c section, he never pressured me to have one he simply informed me of my options and risks and literally held my hand while I made the decision. Him and his team in the OR were so fantastic I felt as if I had the “A Team” taking care of me. 1000/10 would recommend this funny, kind, and seriously brilliant Dr. I doubt anyone would ever feel anything other than completely cared for as his patient. Thank you Dr Slack and the rest of the amazing OB staff at St Francis.

Follow up from surgery! Very informative.

Very patient, very adamant on listening to you and genuinely cares what you have to say. He is honest as the day is long. He is NOT a dr just looking for a reason to perform a surgery when there are better options. Explains the probable causes for your symptoms based on a very detailed assessment. Explains treatment options and why he thinks that “x” is the best option. Very easy to talk to. Excellent bed side manner. I can’t even put it all into words. BEST OB I have EVER had hands down!!!!!!! I drive 1:45 to see him, it’s the best decision I have ever made

Slack listens, is personable, and easy to talk to. I didn't want a male doctor for a long time, but he is the exception with his easy personality. By far the best doctor I have ever had for anything.

Dr. Slack and his team from check-in to check out are professional, informative, thorough and kind. They listen and respond to the actual question asked. They are amazing!

Dr. Slack is by far one of the best doctors I have ever had! He listened to all of my concerns and answered any that I had. He also encouraged me to call if I had any questions or concerns after the appointment. The office staff is amazing. Very kind and so very helpful.

Dr. Slack spent a lot of time with us working through lots of emotional stuff and helping us plan a course of action. He was calming and never made us feel like we were taking to much of his time. He really listened to us and that was refreshing! He looked at the needs from multiple perspectives, medical, emotional, family needs and previous experiences. It was the most genuine and engaged I have ever experienced with a physician! I highly recommend him!
