Not about the patients needs or medical history.
My PCP retired and I needed a Medicare Exam. I phoned this Practice and identified myself as a new patient. I showed up for my appointment. Dr. Ryder never saw me or spoke with me directly. I was put in the hands of his PA Michael. Michael told me up front he and Dr. Ryder had spoken and they DO NOT WORK WITH PAIN MANAGEMENT. They will not prescribe any Opioids (even if prescribed by PM Physician previously). I was told, we were not a good fit to their practice. I never even got my Medicare Exam. A totally waste of my time and theirs. Certainly not serious about their patients care if allievating pain is out of their realm. Never encountered any doctor who would not help someone in pain. Not even a Dentist!

I'm currently in Florida and on my third family practice physician in six years. I never realized how good we had it when Dr. Ryder was our family physician for 20+ years. He never missed a diagnosis, misprescribed or overprescribed, or "blew off" what I thought might be an important symptom. He was far more accessible than doctors I have encountered since. He listened carefully and took whatever time was necessary. He was alway prompt and office staff friend and competent.

I've been a patient for nearly 20 years and have the highest regard for Dr Ryder . He is a great judgment of symptoms and is not quick to put patients on unnecessary medication. He is easy to talk to and has a great staff that make you feel welcome
