New Patient: First Appointment
I needed a new cardiologist after mine of 20 years left his practice. Upon contact, Starling called back promptly to set up an appointment. Through interconnected patient portals they already reviewed medical records and told me I didn't need to bring any records with me. Dr. Merkatz was personable. He listened and was informative. I believe he took appropriate action to assess my condition as a new patient. The tests he ordered were consistent with current symptoms I reported and time since previous similar tests. I felt at comfortable that I had made the right choice in a new cardiologist. The Enfield, Ct office personnel all made me feel this was a well run practice that treated patients with a welcoming smile.
