Unprofessional
Very unprofessional. Refuses to respond to patients or call them back. Charges for medication refills and overbills for office visits. Recommend a reputable provider that doesn't try to take advantage of patients.

Good doctor, horrible staff
Staff answering the phone are totally rude and are supposed to work from home on Fridays but the phone is NEVER answered on Friday. They do not return calls, leave you on hold forever and get snarky quite often. Dr Maybury is a good doctor who is underserved by his useless staff.

Dr. Maybury's staff is so pathetic and useless that even though he is excellent, after 6 years as his patient I will never return. It recently took 4 months to get lab results. The lab results indicated a problem so I called the office and left a message. Their voicemail says calls are returned within 48 hours. It has been more than 5 weeks and I called again earlier this week - still no return call. I called again today and their voicemail is full. This is no way to run a medical practice.

Former Dr. Maybury patient in San Francisco, CA – Feb 16, 2019

He has been my doctor for over 5 years. But now a days, he has got too busy. I don't think he can handle the patient load anymore. Getting an appointment is a nightmare. The person answering the phone is awful, and will put you on hold for 5 minutes, before the line getting disconnected. This happened to me thrice today. I needed to see the doc urgently. Finally the doc returned my call and all he said is - please go to urgent care. I have no appointments today ! I think it's time for me to find

Dr. Maybury is an excellent internal medicine/primary care doctor in every way. He actually lives and practices the philosophy he states on his website - compassionate, knowledgeable, and encourages healthy lifestyle choices in a very positive way. He also actually listens and takes into account your experiences and concerns about health issues. He is a rare find!
