He replaced both my knees ,11 week interval at age 59.He had scoped knees years prior to surgery but after years of bone n bone n knee injections weren't eleviating the pain I gave in to replacements. He always answered all my questions.His nurse Carol and PA were very helpful and knowledgeable before and after surgery.

Not at all. He did a left knee total replacement. And 3 wks later in my home as I was getting up from the toilet the knee and tendon shredded. More surgery then 2 months in a Nursing Home. No weight bearing on the leg, and 3+ months in a hospital bed in our Den, and can NEVER WALK WITHOUT A WALKER. He was let go from Jewett Orthopedic not because of me, but because of his involvement in sending patients to a certain Nursing Home, and he used a certain in home health care - - for KICKBACKS $$$$$

Dr. Krumins performed an outpatient arthroscopy on my knee a month ago. In total, I have seen him four times. He is appropriately friendly, knowledgeable, thorough and answers all questions. I would definitely recommend. Caveat: He works in a huge group practice with all the pros and cons that it entails. The appointment wait times at the Winter Park location is ridiculous. Mine was 2 hours, both times. At the University location, the wait time was far more reasonable at 30 min.

I had the best care with doctor Krumins. Great doctor. I had full knee replacement in November. My has never felt so go. My recovery was excellent. It takes time to heal but completely worth it. My brother is a family practice physician. He wouldn’t let me go to just anyone. All my care was top notch. I would do it again in a heart beat.

Dr. Krumins is an excellent physician who really cares about his patients. He takes his time and listens to what I have to say. He fixed my knee and now I am back to playing sports. Thank you.

My experience with Dr. Krumins started out GREAT, until AFTER the surgery....now I cannot seem to get more than 60 seconds with him. I also cannot seem to get any sort of explanation as to why I am in MORE pain after the surgery than before. I am leaving Jewett and going to a new orthopedic group hoping for better results.

I am a nurse. My 67 Y/O husband had a knee replacement in April and 6 mo later was able to climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse in St. Augustine! Dr Krummins & his staff are warm & caring. More importantly, he uses spinal anesthesia with sedation, rather than general, which in studies has been shown to decrease complications. He also uses a nerve block that blocks surgical pain for the first week allowing a patient to do physical therapy with little or no pain during that first week

After left knee replacement surgery i was walking 4 hours later my pain was a 1( i was told by the nurse that his other knee replacement patient that same day was also claiming little or no pain) and 8 days later i was at work unaided. While at the hospital every nurse , aid, or rehab person i talked to all said that he was the best. and based on my experience he is. I only needed ibuprofen for the swelling discomfort. His protocols before and after surgery led to my amazing recovery.
