Dr Gundle is the best surgeon! He never gave up on me when I needed shoulder reconstructive surgery. It wa delicate due to other medical conditions but he still took me on! I can’t thank him enough as this was life changing for me. I will be eternally grateful to him and his supporting team.

This Dr. Is the best.
Have had 5 knees in over the past 9 years all of which failed. Dr. Gundle took my left leg off above the knee for me. He was incredibly supportive and available for me. I’m so grateful for his support and I’m so relieved to get my life back. His team is a great group of very fine people. I feel very lucky.

PVNS
I have rare condition called PVNS which is a form of cancer around the knee. It is benign and will likely remain so. There are different options to to alleviate the situation surgery or chemo. The chemo drug he wants to give me is still in clinical trials and can cause major liver damage. This (chemo) is the only option he will discuss. I do not want to be a clinical guinea pug and because he has seen me at OHSU, when I went for a second opinion they had all my records from OHSU and would not discuss my condition. So now I can't find a doctor to help me because Gundle has provided his opinion. I don't want the chemo. They tell me because I might get an infection with surgery. I've had two total knee replacements with no issues. I do not want to be part of a clinical trial for the pharmacy industry. Oh, and when I scheduled an appointment to see him he pushed my appointment out 3 months because I didn't want the chemo. So now I am on my own. Thanks Dr. Gundle.

Dr. Gundle seemed very caring and stressed how competent he was to do my surgery. However, the operation was infected with staph and required 2 more surgeries. Getting into the clinic and into surgery are huge issues. Once the last surgery was done, all Dr. Gundle was ready to wash his hands of me. He did not want me to 'think' about what had happened, to just 'forget about it.' I will never see him again.
