I came to Dr. Eckmann to ask for a diagnosis of my injured nerve on left arm and hand caused by blood work drawn in an unprofessional way by a healthcare lab.Dr. Eckmann did a very thorough and detailed clinical exam of my arm and hand and gave me very clear explanation on how the injury must have happened and why it caused the effects I am still suffering from. He took his time to answer all my questions and made his diagnosis even clearer to me by searching a related diagram or picture online. I was very impressed by his procedure and friendliness.I will recommend him to anyone who needs a neurologist appointment.

Dr Eckmann listens well. Responded to my concerns and suggested practical suggestions. He didn't seem to be in a hurry to suggest drugs or invasive procedures but allowed it as a possibility.

Dr. Eckmann was a patient listener, a skilled examiner, and a clear communicator about my issue, mercifully not as serious as I had feared. Not only that, he has a great sense of humor—and he can quote Lewis Carroll stanzas from Alice in Wonderland when appropriate! What’s not to like?!

Dr. Eckmann has an office full of papers, dirty coffee cups and water bottles. Having said that, he does provide sound advice and information.

I did not have to wait for long to see the doctor. My first visit, the doctor took his time and was not rushing.

Listens attentively to me. Whenever I access the portal with any questions or concerns I have, Dr. Eckmann always responds promptly. I have been a patient for approximately 25 years and have always had the most confidence in his judgment. In addition, Dr. Eckmann treated my husband and immediately scheduled various tests to determine his prognosis; this was not done in the past by another Neurologist. He has a very calming personality - keeps me calm.

Dr. Eckmann is a superb diagnostician who backs up his work with comprehensive testing. He has done more for me than any other neurologist.

The visit started at the time of the appointment. We did not have to wait in the office Dr. Eckman met us and let us into his office he was thorough and explained everything and gave us an options

I had a routine appointment to review my medication and it turned into a lot more. I mentioned some unusual recurring symptoms and Dr Eckmann listened and asked questions. He tried to put me at ease over what might be wrong. I left knowing he would do whatever it takes to find out what’s wrong.

Yearly followup went very well, as it has since I started seeing Dr. Eckmann in 2005. You would be hard pressed to find a neurology practice more professionally run than The Neurology Center.
