Dr. Carnes was not only professional and confident but more importantly, polite and reassuring. He did a great job listening to my concerns and provided the right amount of answers to my questions. Dr. Carnes was thorough in his clinical assessment and always fast to respond via the patient portal. I look forward to my next visit with him!

Dr. Carnes was my neurologist for a couple of years. I never truly felt like he was very interested in me or the symptoms I was experiencing. I also got the distinct impression that he disliked his job. I remember once at an appointment he asked how I was, and I was having a lot of discomfort that day so I said "well, I'm here", and I asked how he was and he said, "well, I'm here too". I also remember that whenever anyone else was in the appointment with us (my husband, an intern) he would perk up and it was as if he was excited that someone was watching and paying attention to him. When it was just the two of us, he appeared bored and disinterested. Ultimately he missed a correct diagnosis for me, and I sought treatment from a different facility and a different doctor and I'm much improved. Dr. Carnes was never downright rude or disrespectful, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed with him and the overall care I received.

Dr. Carnes is simply awesome! I have been with him for 17 years now, and I couldn't ask for a better Dr. I was diagnosed with MS, and Dr. Carnes always gives me informative advice about my disease, and does so in a very calming manner. 10 stars go out to you, Dr. Ken Carnes! I fully put my trust in him-his treatment suggestions have worked for me this far, SO.....here's to the next 17 years!! :)

Extremely caring. If there is a situation that warrants he will double book to be able to see you. Smart to the point, and can remember without missing a step. I feel very fortunate to have him considering the medical situation I am in.
