Not just a kind docter, but very kind man

excellent caring and care

I had to go to the ER about 3am this morning 12 24 24. I was in so much pain due to Osteoarthiritis. Dr. Canant lit up my world when he came in, sit down and talked to me. He made me smile and laugh. He has outstanding bedside manners too. He told me what my problem was and told me what needed to be done. I felt better when I left. We need more angelic beings in this world and to me, GOD sent me this one.

I have severe POTS/Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, use a motorized wheelchair (alll in “My Chart”). Lost consciousness , needed a saline IV. He tested my sodium, told my husband it was dangerously low. I also have controlled anxiety. He chose to disbelieve my CONFIRMED, dangerous diagnoses, saw “anxiety” and inappropriately diagnosed “conversion disorder”.. resulting in stigma & degrading treatment in the ER I will never forget. He didn’t even tell us his “diagnosis”..we found out on My Chart

Dr. Canant is a skilled and talented physician. He seems well suited for the rigors of emergency medicine and appears to be genuinely interested in his ER patients. However, the billing group he uses, OWL Emergency Physicians, is simply pathetic. For example, when I inquired about the delinquency notice I received over three weeks after paying the billed amount in full, an employee in their AP group told me it takes three weeks after they receive your check for it to post in their system.

Fast service. Very funny.
