Inappropriate and . . .
This doctor entered the surgery room at the last minute, as I was falling asleep from sedation that I'd already been given by the other staff before he arrived; he stormed in lecturing me about how I should have come sooner and would have died blahblahblah. (HE should have arrived sooner if he wanted to talk to me.) If this is such important information he should provide it BEFORE surgery, or AFTER surgery, not wait until patient is sedated and can't even talk let alone comprehend. He never bothered to meet with or converse with me before or after, and no one there ever told me that I had pre-cancerous polyps. I found out on my own years later by digging up electronic records. I had zero idea that I was at risk. Severe failures in communication. I remain appalled at Dr. Binmoeller's behavior. Grateful for his skill but disgusted by his inappropriateness.

Dr. Binmoeller is outstanding - extremely knowledgeable, highly skilled, and personable. He saved my colon - another doctor wanted to remove a piece of my colon due to a large polyp, but Dr. Binmoeller was able to remove the polyp using endoscopic mucosal resection. I rode my bicycle to work the next day and felt great. Colon surgery would have laid me up in the hospital for five days followed by a multi-week recovery. I am forever indebted to Dr. Binmoeller and his innovative procedures. He also uses water to expand the colon instead of air, so I do not use anesthetic for surveillance colonoscopies with Dr. Binmoeller. It's great to be able to ride my bicycle home after the procedure instead of having someone waiting for me to drive me home due to wooziness after anasthesia.

I was referred to Dr.Binmoeller because my Gastrologist found a large mass in my duodenum covering 1/3 circumference and over 2 folds, I met Dr. Binmoeller and he explained how difficult it would be to remove the mass because of the location and thin vascular wall of duodenum. But he had confidence that he would be able to do it. After the procedure he told me how lucky I was . The mass was huge and I was very lucky it was not already cancer. He explained that I would need follow up in 6 months. In that follow up there was another small adenoma plus a lot of undigested food. After a couple of test I was now diagnosed with diabetic gastroparesis. I just had my next 6 months follow up and this time I had a lot of scar tissue with some residual adenoma trap in it and invading the wall. Because of Dr. Binmoeller skills he was able to remove it all saving me from a major surgery where I would have lost half of my pancreas. I am forever grateful and blessed to have him as my doctor !

Back in Feb 2018 I was feeling mild bloating feeling and was referred by my primary to a different doc for an upper endoscopy. Nothing found. Fast forward to Feb 2020 and I'm still feeling same and had cut back on food because just a little and I would already feel full. Overdue for my 10-year colonoscopy so decided to get it with someone else so I could get a second opinion on the bloating at the same time. The upper endoscopy was repeated and this time an indication of trouble was detected. I was referred to Dr BinMoeller, who used an endoscope he innovated that incorporates ultrasound to look below the surface of the gut unlike conventional endoscopes that cannot. He found a large precancerous tumor and got it all out. The 6-month re-scoping Sep 2020 confirmed no remaining tumor. Dr BinMoeller saved me from probably having to have my duoedenum and pancreas removed in what would have been a last-ditch attempt to save my life. Thank you Dr. BinMoeller.

Dr binmoeller did a diagnostic procedure on my pancreas last week. I waited 3 months to see him as apposed to anyobe else. His level of knowledge is incredible. In first 2 minutes of speaking to him in operating room he put to rest a great fear re my bile ducts that two other gastrointerologist had me believing was a very serious problem for previous four months. He is a blessing sent from god. I have told everyone i care about to only seek his care for gastrointestinal problems

I will only go to Dr. Binmoeller for a colonoscopy now. He is excellent at removing larger polyps and he saved me from having a surgery that was scheduled to remove part of my intestine because the earlier doctor couldn't remove one. He was able to remove it. I'll take a colonoscopy any day over an invasive surgery. I am grateful.

I had a large polyp in my lower colon and my previous doctor had talked about invasive surgery and chemo. I was lucky to be referred to Dr. Binmoeller who could remove the polyp. I was spared a life with a colon bag. Dr. Binmoeller is an excellent practitioner, not only because of the procedure he pioneered, but also because he has a friendly and warm manner, but also is able to explain in a complex medical situation in plain English (and German!). Highly recommended.

Dr. Binmoeller surgery skills saved me from a colostomy bag. I HAD two large ugly polyups that he was able to remove. The only other option was surgery where a large piece of my colon was removed and then have a bag, (That was a non-option). He and the staf were excellent. If you have something similar to this he is your go to guy. FWZ, Chico CA
