Terrible Doctor
Dr. Beck was laughing and joking with her Dr. Collogues while performing a colonoscopy on my loved one who was in the ICU. I was in the room and witnessed her laughing and carrying on. I asked her what’s so funny right now! She is unprofessional, lacks compassion for delicate, fragile patients, disrespectful and dishonest! My loved one died 10 days after the procedure.Do not use this doctor.

HORRIBLE DO NOT GO TO THIS DR
She is the laziest dr. Do NOT GO TO HER IF YOU NEED ACTUAL CARE- all her 'staff' will do is copy and paste her biased inaccurate info and leave you to fend for yourself and suffer. If you have complex medical issues she will blame completely unrelated issues just because she can't do her job. You would think UCSF being as prestigious as it is would actually employ competent drs. Waste of time

Find a different doctor
Dr. Beck and her staff are not knowledgeable and are incompetent. The doctor is difficult to get a response from and does not read my MyChart messages carefully. Her responses to my messages do not fully address my concerns and she often misunderstands my messages, yet she thought it was appropriate to charge me a co-pay for the message. I often feel I have to orchestrate her and the staff to get them to do I need them to do in a timely manner. The staff I’ve spoken to on the phone are rude and don’t know how to do their job. Find a different doctor.

No support
Never able to speak with doctor despite repeated attempts to do so after endoscopies to discuss continuing symptoms and difficulties. Just got replies through website from her staff which finally ended with video appointment with her nurse who did not seem very knowledgeable about my specific concerns. Never again.

She is the best! I used to live in the valley, but recently moved. The doctors there were not nearly as caring and compatistonite as Dr Beck is! She listens to me, understands what I'm going through, and treats me like a human being not just another patient. I've been overwhelmed by her and her team since I started going there. I highly recommend her! She is Awesome! One of the best doctors in the country!
