Great Doctor and Great Person - Retinal Surgery
My wife has had four retina surgeries with Dr. Mitchell. Couldn't have asked for a better doctor. We have had experiences with about a dozen different doctors in various fields and Dr. Kelly Mitchell is number one on our list.

Excellent referral
Dr. Mitchell was referred to me because I was moving to the city where Dr. Mitchell is in practice. My doctor studied with Dr. Mitchell and has great respect for him. I trust my former doctor, Charles Cohn's recommendation because he took excellent care of my eyes. Dr. Cohn was able to stabilize my condition which Dr. Mitchell was able to confirm. I look forward to have excellent care from Dr. Mitchell

Always a pleasure to see Dr Mitchell I have diabetic retinopathy have had lots of laser and shots in my eyes. He and his staff are the best! He has kept these old diabetic eyes going strong so I can see the kids and grandkids. Thanks Dr. Mitchell

Wonderful physician and person!
Dr. Mitchell has performed two complicated surgeries on my eye. Now, we are in follow up and he is amazing. I checked with other people and physicians and all of them so highly recommend him—-and I totally agree. His professionalism and abilities plus his personable manner are unbeatable. So thankful he is my physician, and that he’s having such a great influence on young future physicians as well

Awesome doctor!
He literally saved both of my eyes! Hes very caring and they took care of me even when I didn't have insurance at the time. His whole team is amazing! I have not one bad thing to say after seeing them for 3 plus years and counting. I ALWAYS receive excellent care.

Retina detachment ( 4)
Dr Mitchell is an awesome Dr and person . He cared about his patients and their health . I've had 4 retina detachments & the lens detach from my cataract surgery from years ago .The surgery was 5 hours long .

My Friend
Dr Mitchell has taken care of my wet macular degeneration since 2014. I’m very happy with his treatment. My vision is very close to what it was before the macular began. He stays current with the latest developments in treatment options. He explains what is happening with my eyes and why he recommends a particular procedure. I have seen many of his resident doctors that he is teaching. They are all developing great medical skills. Dr Mitchell is a very caring physician. More than anything he is my friend!

What a great Ophthalmologist!
Attentive, and explained everything in great detail to make sure I was comfortable with my prognosis and why he recommended the course of action to correct my detached retina. Follow up care is phenomenal, great staff and very personable. Feel lucky that he is my Doctor.

Wonderful physician and person
I have been seeing Dr. Mitchell for over two years now for Macular Degeneration in my left eye. He is wonderful. He takes time to explain everything relating to me treatment. I believe he has my well-being in mind. Strongly recommend Dr. Mitchell.
