Dr. Kelly Hayday, MD

Dr Hayday was my PCP in Maine before she left (got fired maybe??). I was a healthy individual who started to have many abdominal GI symptoms as well as muscular problems. Dr Hayday literally interrupted me as I was explaining symptoms and offered me a anti depressant and said there was nothing she could do for me. Subsequently I ended up in the ER for a emergency appendectomy. Did not do any physical exam when I complained about abdominal pains. Time to find a new profession Kelly Hayday.

Very unfriendly atmosphere. Went to see Dr Hayday and regarding severe pain I was having and without even looking at the area I was having pain he made a diagnosis and gave me a prescription. Two days later the pain was much worse and ended up seeing another doctor and after taking a one look at the area the doctor diagnosed it as a cyst which will take surgery to remove it.Dr Hayday diagnosed it as a sprained muscle even though he did not see it. I called and left a message for Dr Hayday, voicing my complaint. The only thing I heard back from him was a bill in the mail for his services! Wrong diagnosis, wrong prescription!!! The staff was very unfriendly also.

My mother was only her patient for a short time. She moved to the area and was looking for a new PCP. My mother asked for a referral to a oncologist because she had had a NET tumor removed several years earlier. Her response still blows my mind. She said there was no need for monitoring as it would never spread. I was dumbfounded it made my mother question what was right or wrong. Fortunately she eventually did get a referral and was reassured that NET's do spread and need to be monitored. STAY AWAY!!

Severely condescending to my 89yo mother. Had her in tears. Very rude manners.
