Dr Bumpus is excellent
My son had a terrible ingrown toenail and has a terrible fear of needles. She was extremely patient with his anxiety and today he is feeling so much better one day after his procedure. So very grateful for the care we recieved.

Dr Bumpus is absolutely the BEST!! A lot of Docs treat you like a number. Get you in and out without you having any answers. NOT Dr Bumpus. She’s caring, informative, and has always treated me like a person not a number.

Misdiagnosed
While I like Dr. Bumpus, her communication and diagnostic skills were lacking in my experience. She initially diagnosed a plantar wart, but on my third visit, she veered off into talking about something (hammer toe) new and different that was wrong with my foot. I had to interrupt her in dismay and ask for clarification. After 4 visits with no improvement on the plantar wart, she declared that I would need surgery, complete with anesthesia, at a UTMC operating room. I went to see another podiatrist at the suggestion of my dermatologist, and he was able to resolve my issue with a simple procedure in his office. No anesthesia, no hospital visit. Dr. Kelly simply had misdiagnosed my problem. I actually had a punctate keratosis with callus, NOT a plantar wart. After suffering for more than a year, I am happy now.

Great Doctor!
Took my 10 year old granddaughter to see her for an ingrown toenail. She was fantastic! Eased her fears and was just delightful! Very knowledgeable! Took excellent care of her. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Excellent, very attentive and thorough. Diagnosed a problem a well known orthopedic clinic missed. I have seen several podiatrist and orthopedic doctors; she is by far the best.

Dr. Bumpus is wonderful. She does a thorough exam and takes the time to explain what's going on and how best to treat it. She's very warm and personable...that may not matter to some, but if doctor appointments are your least favorite thing, it matters a lot. Her training and credentials are impressive. Be sure to take a look at them. And...to top it off, her office staff is NICE!! No rude receptionists...just friendly folks behind the counter.
