Best Dr Experience yet
One of the most thorough and caring dr visits I've experienced. Very caring, very good communication and efficient on every front. Biggest challenge is waiting for someone to answer the phone (which is the norm everywhere these days). Highly recommend this Dr.

Excellant for unusual condition
The doctor and his nurse practioner educated themselves for my post polio syndrome, although there are only 0.3% of the country left with this condition. Great care for all my needs.

My Praise Overdue
I started seeing Dr Wickenhauser when I had my first child. Everything was very new and overwhelming as a first time mom and the pandemic didn’t help matters, but Dr Wickenhauser always took his time to listen to my worries or concerns. He has always been very patient and understanding with each visit or phone call. That is one of his best traits. My family and I would still see him today except we now live a few states away, but I will gladly go back to see him whenever we relocate back home.

Wonderful caring Dr
I was a patient of Dr Meltz for over 25 years. When Dr Wickenhauser took over, I hoped for the best. Well he is wonderful!! Very caring and always willing to listen to all my concerns.

On call physician-ignores pages
My 81 year-old mother tested positive for CoVID. He took 2 hours to respond to initial page Leaves a prescription with a closed pharmacy. Call again and he calls in the wrong dosage to a different pharmacy. Did not respond to pharmacist call to correct prescription. Did not respond to 2 additional pages over the course of 2 hours while I waited at the pharmacy. No other physician in the practice on call. After hour service, says they page him and he chose to ignore. Complete disregard for patient care!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Wickenhauser since he started at Boonslick Medical Group. For starters, he has wonderful bedside manner. He cares, listens, is thorough, and obviously loves what he does. I never feel rushed and always feel respected. When I have stayed overnight at BJC St. Peters, the nurses have commented on how wonderful they think he is, as well as being one of the first doctors to visit patients in the a.m.. He also has a fantastic nursing staff who is always responsive. I have seen his N.P. Melinda on numerous occasions and have gotten equally supportive care. Making appointments and getting refills has never been a problem. With Dr. Wickenhauser being younger than me, I would be very fortunate to have him as my PCP through my senior years. Thank you Dr. Wickenhauser!!!!

We started seeing Dr. Keith Wickenhauser after about 35 years with Dr. Gary Meltz. He is very caring, concerned and patient. He has always been very professional, and shown the utmost concern when approached with anything we have come to him with. It also is not unlike him to personally call a patient back if he feels the need to talk to them himself. Needless to say we not only would very highly recommend Dr. Wickenhauser but I personally have recommended him to family, friends, and even hospital staff. Thanks to Dr Meltz and my Pulmonologist for recommending him to us.

Was with Dr Meltz for 30 years - loved the guy! Dr Meltz recommended Dr Wickenhauser so that was all I needed. Have seen him 3-4 times in last couple of years. Young but sharp. Very easy to talk to. Very happy with him as my primary care doctor and would recommend him to anyone.

Initial visit after he replaced Dr Meltz at Boonslick Medical. I had nothing for him to check, merely needed refills of my medicines which could not be refilled without a visit. He asked me what’s going on. In conversation I told him about issues I have been having and that contributed to some weight gain. Those issues are not yet resolved but I have specialized doctors I see for these issues. All he could focus on was if I wasn’t fat I wouldn’t have problems so what am I going to do about it. He stated “I don’t have a magic pill for you”. Funny thing I didn’t ask for help from him with anything at all. He asked me what has been going on and I merely replied then was humiliated. Having broken bones in foot, having foot surgery, then possible torn meniscus is just an excuse he says. So I paid a copay to get refill of blood pressure and sinus meds and was humiliated and degraded instead until I left his office with no refills. He could have been profession and at least respectful.
