Intelligent and caring Doctor.
I first met Dr. Mercer as a referral from Emergency in the hospital when I couldn’t see out of one of my eyes.Dr. Mercer immediately performed surgery on my eye and I could see you again right away which I was extremely grateful for!As several years went by he was my main ophthalmologist and did a very thorough check up on my eyesight each time I visited.I highly recommend Dr. Mercer he’s a good man an experienced doctor and a very friendly person.

Confusing appointment.
My appointment was for 8:30 am, but ran late by 25 minutes. Drops that had quite a burn to them, with no warning of the sensation to come, were given by the assistant prior to the exam. The exam never included a final look, at what my vision will be like, with my new glasses, just veiwing through one eye at a time. At previous appointments with two different optomologists, I was informed I have a cataract in my left eye, believable, as I have trouble with blank spots when using the computer at work, and reading for pleasure. I now believe I need to spend more money to go get a 2nd opinion before buying new glasses.
