Dr. Keith Maxwell, MD

First I'd like to say one of the bad reviews here was about Dr. Motley not Maxwell! They are very different personalities and doctors Dr. Maxwell responded to my situation immediately as I was in excruciating pain He didn't let me suffer but immediately sent me for an MRI then told me I needed surgery immediately He was so encouraging that I would be ok My disc was fragmented and I couldn't feel my leg Six years later I'm still ok! Had to see him again today for a neck issue and he saw me even though his schedule was mixed up I drove two hours because I don't trust anyone else He asked great questions and knew what was going on I have 1000% confidence that I'll get the best care and can trust what he says That's unusual in the medical field today!!! He cares and is just again amazing as a physician!

I saw Dr Maxwell in 2020 & I don't know why I waited so long to write a review but every time I have to pull up my chart, I am reminded of how horrible my visits were with them, and the lack of information in my charts is "unbelievable" as my current NP said. I called their office about severe hip pain I was having & bc I have mild scoliosis; I was told I needed to see Maxwell prior to seeing Motely. They ordered an MRI of my lumbar spine & I was told "I wish I had a spine like yours" by their NP or PA. There was no concern shown. I was poked in my belly and told to "pull it in". I returned to see Motley and he proceeded to run manual tests on my leg & hip - by the time he was on top of the table w/ my irritated leg bent into external rotation w/ my heel to opposite hip, pushing, I asked him to stop. He reluctantly said, it must be SI, & I returned for an injection where they visibly saw arthritis. I left with no questions being answered, my charts are so minimal with info; just bills.

I cannot recommend Dr. Maxwell more highly. After two previous surgeries that did little, Dr. Maxwell diagnosed me and performed the SI joint fusion which provided me with 97% pain relief! He is an amazing physician. Great bedside manner, pleasant demeanor, informative and helpful. Who could ask for more?

Dr. Maxwell performed my S-I joint fusion surgery. This doctor is the doctor to see for S-I joint problems! I now am walking with NO pain! Staff are all wonderful... I could not have expected better! If I could give 10 stars I would.

Dr. Maxwell performed an ACDF operation on C3-4 (disc was in multiple pieces). Fused with an irix-c implant. He is an absolutely phenomenal surgeon who truly cares about patient outcomes. Almost a year later I have no issues and feel great. The neurological pain I had previously was gone instantly after the surgery. A week after the surgery there was no post operation pain from the procedure. Highly recommend.

Dr.Maxwell gave me,back my ability to walk again. I'm a 62 year old active male. Also,a left below knee amputee of 42 years, had my right knee replaced in Florida by a surgeon who didn't give a darn about my pain afterwards. Came to summer home, had to get an MRI of my lower spine, only to find an extrusion at L2-L3. It was so bad that I was wheelchair bound and screaming in pain. Dr Maxwell saw me and informed me only surgery would help. 6/26/17 surgery and walked that day. Doing great now.

I would recommend Dr. Maxwell to anyone.
