Excellent experience
Dr Gabriel performed a hip surgery on our daughter, for hip dysplasia, when she was 18mo old. She's now 11 & has no problems! We moved to NC and had a follow up with a top UNC Orthopedic surgeon & he told us the surgery was done perfectly & her hips are as good as any child's hips! We are forever grateful for Dr Gabriel.

I had severe scoliosis at the age of 12. I had two Curvature's. The top was 60° and the bottom was 57.2°. I was constantly in pain. Dr. Gabriel performed my surgery. Thank god for this man! He did an outstanding job! He has no idea how much he changed my life for the better. I am now 20 years old and my scars are hardly noticeable! Thank You, Dr. Gabriel for everything you've done. You're truly a miracle worker.

Dr. Gabriel and the staff at Shriners Hospital diagnosed me with Cerebral Palsy repeatedly over a period of ten years. Upon taking my daughter to a geneticist and receiving her diagnosis of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, I was informed that I also have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and do not have Cerebral Palsy. The surgery that was performed by Dr. Gabriel and the staff at Shriners was unnecessary and exacerbated the symptoms of the Ehlers-Danlos syndrome leaving me with little muscle stability in my legs

Dr. Gabriel maintains excellent professional conduct, while being both personable, and respectful of patients and parents. He exhibits a genuine empathetic connection by understanding how the condition affects the patients emotions and lifestyle, thereby imparting a great sense of comfort to the patient. His level of attentiveness outperforms all others; he spends a long time both asking and answering questions to achieve a real understanding of the situation.
