Complete lack of communication. Can only leave voice messages. Have not received any return calls. I am, was a patient but a customer as well. I have been a patient for about 4 years. I only missed 1 appointment. I owe nothing. I have been trying to make an appointment and left several messages. No one will call back. Obviously they dropped me and will not return calls to explain why.

Thank you so much!
Dr Kamali is absolutely the best physician! He looked at my labs and started some medications. I have never had a DR do this. I was always told I do not have RA because your sero negative. I'm sorry, but I've had sever inflammation in my joints since I was in grade school. I have not slept good, been able to close my hands in the morning and have been on pain medications that never worked. It make me look like I was drug seeking and I was not. I absolutely LOVE Dr Kamali!

I have been a patient for a year now and I am very pleased with Dr. Kamali and his staff. I have been treated with the utmost courtesy and Dr. Kamali is thorough and always checks to be sure I understand what he is saying and asks if I have any questions. He is exactly what I look for in a doctor. I have seen the P.A. and she was wonderful--she did a great job! Dr. Kamali is precise and thorough and that is what I look for. I appreciate the fact that I do not have to wait long to be called in to see him, and I appreciate the fact that I am out in a timely manner so I can get back to work. He is exactly the type of doctor I like.

Great experience!
My experience with Dr. Kamali has been great! I have been seeing Dr. Kamali every 3 months for 8 years - diagnosed with RA. I never feel rushed, he always explains everything and asks if I have any questions about anything. My condition has improved with medication. And the PA's are great also, Susan and Carla. I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes (usually less) for my appointment - I do go early in the morning, so not sure what afternoon is like.

Dr Kamali is great. There is obviously a problem with the office staff and their patient communication skills but this review is not about them. Dr Kamali is a genius at tracking down the exact diagnosis and in my case the type of arthritis. I understand that Autoimmune diseases can be tricky to diagnose, especially those that evolve over time. But Dr Kamali does extensive blood work, X-rays and MRIs if needed to get a clear picture of what’s happening in the body. I have never before had such a thorough examination and I feel confident in his findings. Dr Kamali was patient with me (I ask a lot of questions!) and kind. Qualities I really appreciate in an MD. Don’t let the office staff issues run you off and rob you of the benefits of seeing Dr Kamali. He’s worth it. I just hope he hires a good office manager someday! Or at a minimum installs a phone system that actually works and also provides text confirmation of appointments. Presently the phone just rings & rings. No auto-attendant

I was referred to Dr. Kamali in July 2015. After years of going from doctor to doctor and dragging myself to work every morning, I finally was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis by Dr. Kamali. After seeing him several times the following year, my subsequent appointments, every two-three months, have been with his exceptional PAs. I found his nursing and office staff also exceptional. Dr. Kamali does tend to talk fast, because he has a lot of information to give; but I have found him quite willing to be interrupted with, "Just a moment. Could you explain that?".

I very strongly recommend NOT using this doctor. The staff changed the appointment date causing a family member to have to take off work to attend and then would not let him in the room after allowing it on the last visit. The doctor has a thick accent and talks very fast making him hard to understand even if I were not hard of hearing. He seems to like to prescribe dangerous drugs for things he does not understand any more than he did on the first visit. Today I fired the doctor and we left without completing the appointment I will find another doctor who can speak clearly, is careful prescribing dangerous drugs, and can understand medical problems, and who's staff has common sense and will honor their word. One staff member said that the reason for the change was because of the uptick is the virus. 78 year old people who stay home except to get food, medication, and see a doctor are not the cause of the uptick. Also going to a doctor where you can not communicate is useless.

Was scheduled to see Dr. Kamali, but was scheduled to see Susan Jones ,PA, she was rude and inconsiderate and has a very horrible bedside manner. You only see Dr. Kamali only once a year and his NP or PA the other times. Why are we paying to see a Specialist and get assigned to his Flunkies, who refuse to give any updates on your medications and only there to give you the results on your blood work. The office staff never return calls and after more than a year still do not know my name.

Dr. Kamali is rude, condescending, arrogant and prideful. The staff is rude and incompetent. I went to Dr Kamali for 12 years but he got upset that I got a second opinion after I went to him in 2015 with new symptoms that pointed to another condition and he refused to listen! He treated me for something I didn't even have and in the meantime took valuable time away from me to stop the progression of a more debilitating illness that I was suffering from.. Be very wary of this doctor!

I have been going to Dr Kamali for almost 3 years. He is an excellent rheumatologist and his top notch on everything. When I first started seeing him I was in tremendous pain with my rheumatoid arthritis Dr Kamali, his NP and PA are very knowledgeable and caring for me as a patient. Any time I am in tremendous pain they always work me in. I will never go to any other rheumatologist. I am very blessed that I found Dr Kamali.

I have been seeing Dr. Kamali since he first opened his office in Longview. I trust his judgement, find his treatments appropriate for my condition and feel better. He keeps my treatments up to current technology. His PA/NPs are very efficient and professional and manage my care very well. They stay in touch with Dr. Kamali about my condition and he keeps tabs on me even though he sees me only every 3rd visit. What more could a patient ask?

Was misdiagnosed with RA was on injection treatment with Embrel for 3 years. Tried many times to tell him I felt as if I did not have symptoms of RA. Just took him at his word. He did help me with gout. However I soon felt like I was providing steady insurance. In every 3 months for a 4 minute appt. not to mention blood work. How could he get the diagnosis wrong with all that.

Office staff is horrible. They lose track of my appointments, saying I having seen the doctor in 7 months when I was was just there a few weeks ago! I was unable to make my next appointment because I was in the ER and they pushed my date to see my doc back 3 months! My meds get sent in to the pharmacy late. If you have any other options please take them. This place is a LAST resort. When you get to see the doctor he seems to be knowledgeable and helpful, but his office staff is just the worst.

His office staff is just terrible. You only see the doctor once a year. All other visits are with a nurse practitioner. You will be a test dummy for all kinds of medication and they don't care about your side effects. Try finding a doctor in Tyler

Dr kamali is awesome but his staff is the most inconsiderate non caring Rudest people you will ever have to deal with Iam considering looking for a different doctor only!!! Because of his staff there is only one!! Nice person that works there a very nice Hispanic lady that's the only nice one there. And when they tell you to call them two days a head for your medications narcodics. They treat you like dirt when you do call for them only because they are! Narcodocs. But they are still very rude

Staff does not return calls, you will have to wait 30-45 minutes to see a Dr. for 10 minutes. Providers really don't seem to care, mistakes are the norm for this clinic.
