Disrespectful. Poor communication. Does not return phone calls in a timely fashion. Condescending. Unprofessional.

I have awful periods, but he wouldn’t give me an endometrial ablation.

For an OBGYN to not realize their patient is experiencing trauma is appalling. He literally shoved my legs apart which I had closed due to sexual violence in my past. "Ma'am I'm only inserting a speculum" is what he said as I was hysterically crying. No warning, just forced my legs apart and shoved it in. I had my mother come to my appointment with me, and she was trying to tell him I'm disabled, in pain, and to give me time. He ignored that. He also misdiagnosed me twice. He put me on meds I didn't need to be on, the second time just because his PA thought it was a good idea. He did so without seeing me again after his incorrect diagnosis. I am so traumatized after seeing him, I will probably never seek gynecological care again...after someone else figures out what is wrong. I will never walk back into CrystalRun if my life depended on it. Completely unkind, oblivious, and does not care about trauma women have been through, or retraumatizing his patients.

Dr. Amrute listened to my concerns & gave me options for treatment. After two more visits my prolapsed bladder was treated with a pessary & my follow-up appointment was very positive. My next appointment will be in three months & Dr. Amrute reassured me that he will be available to answer any questions that may be me in the meantime.
