Dr. Kayla Weston Aanderud, DO

Dr Weston was amazing.

Dr. Weston immediately put me at ease, asked questions, explained my upcoming procedure and her methods clearly, stopped several times to make sure my questions were answered, and expressed genuine concern for my wellbeing. 10/10 - I wish every medical professional was just like her!

Not impressed. Was kind of rude.

Dr. Weston was exceptionally thorough in her discussion with mer and took her time answering my questions.

Dr. Weston was very informative and empathetic. I felt heard and well educated on my choices.

Dr. Weston was extremely patient with me and my million questions. At each appointment I felt comfortable with her, knowing she would explain the steps she was taking. Dr. Weston was pregnant at the same time as me, so occasionally it was difficult to get appointments, but the practice she was at had a lot of other doctors and midwives who could step up.Dr. Weston was not at my birth (was not on call the night I rushed in), but did check in with me later.

To be fair, I know medical professionals are human, but she was horrendous. She was kind and bubbly upfront, but that’s not enough to make a good OBGYN. Her pride and poor judgment led to several hours of extra, unnecessary pushing and strain on my son and I. Eventually another doctor was called and I delivered with him. Dr. Weston was too prideful to listen to the nurses who insisted my son was positioned incorrectly (they were right!). If she’s the attending resident when you deliver, I strongly advise you ask for someone else!
