He almost killed me. Seriously read this.
Telehealth
Dr. Chang has been my cardiologist for approximately 2.5 years. 1. POOR CARE: Dr. Chang missed diagnosing an aortic aneurysm. He ignored my reported symptoms and continuously recommended a ZioPatch. The Ziopatch didn't find anything. I had to attend a meeting with him where I REQUESTED a specific test (stress echocardiogram) and sure enough during that test they discovered a potentially fatal aneurysm.2. POOR COMMUNICATION: Dr. Chang then ordered 2 tests at my request about 5 months ago. The first showed abnormalities. His nurse called me and canceled the second test without any info. I emailed him requesting more information. No response for 2 weeks. 3. RUDE: We had a video visit and I had requested a referral for a second opinion. He clearly felt slighted. I informed him (calmly and professionally) that I am frustrated due to the unprofessional behavior. He ended the call and said 'I wish you the best with your other provider.'

Zero patient empathy and responsiveness
Horrible experience with Dr. Chang and had to switch doctors after a few visits. He was completely unresponsive and unempathetic to following up and providing any insight to abnormal test results. If no medical issues, he’s probably fine but if anything out of the ordinary and you’re looking for a doctor to engage with and understand how to interprete and proceed, I’d recommend finding a different doctor.
