Dr. Kavitha Thukkaram, MD

Money minded. They charged you multiple visits on same day just because they want to you to come every 3 months if you don't go. They don't refill prescriptions until you see them and when you see them they don't do and just refill your prescription and charge you for visit. They say its contract between us, and you have to come after every 3 months. What kind of contract, a car EMI?

She should be an urgent care doctor because you will be in and out in the blink of an eye. She is not a good doctor to following someone who has multiple issues such as the elderly in long term care facilities. She needs to go into occupational health or somewhere that doesn't require constant care because she is horrible at that!

My father was a patient of Dr Thukkaran for many years before he passed. I couldn’t had done it without her!! She’s on amazing Dr. she would even get concerned about me being stressed and to take of myself.. I would definitely see Dr Thukkaran as my primary if I had to change my primary. I actually miss her .

I have been a patient for more than 10 years. My entire family including my teenagers are now seeing her. The office is always very helpful. I have never had a problem getting a same day appointment when I needed it. I usualy wait no more than 15 minutes. Doctor is very thorough and experienced. She does not refer to others unnecessarily and does not prescribe antibiotics unless absolutely needed. I highly recommend Dr Thukkaram.

Dr. Kavitha Thukkaram has been our family physician for more than two years. My husband had high blood pressure when we started visiting her. Following her advice, my husband had lost more than 15 pounds within a year. It was due to her invigorating force to reduce the weight, my husband’s blood pressure and cholesterols levels came down to normal level. I really appreciate her for being our family health advisor.

The positive reviews on here must be requested by her from particular patients. - You are just a dollar sign - They push for you to get services linked to a dollar amount even if it is just general things a doctor should do - Makes you go in sooner then any other doc to give you a refill on meds you take everyday for years. Doesn’t do anything when you do go in and asks if you still need them. Obviously just wants the money from the unnecessary visit. - I asked 2 questions and went to ask the third regarding my health and she said no it doesn’t work that way, I need to make multiple appointments for multiple questions. Again, just wants to get paid for extra visits. - No bedside manner, you are only a rushed business transaction.

Great Bedside manner, thorough exam and accurate diagnosis. AND does not prescribe medications especially antibiotics unncessarily

She is my primary doctor. Consulted for some issue.

Courteous staff, zero dilatory excuses, if you are on time for your appt you will be attended to on time. Doctor took time to listen to all my questions with prompt answers. She does not in a hurry to cover as many patients and in the process hurry you up.

All the team is very good they make it easy for me and the doctor is perfect she understands,care,and intrested

She takes the time to listen to your concerns - wonderful bed side manners - I have been going to her for years along with my family and I will continue to do so!

Doctor is running a commercial place but healthcare. You need pre-credit card authorization (Breaking News). The doctor will call you twice just to discuss your medicine. Doctor reads medical reports on your 2nd visit and not prior( Efficiency or care gone). Never discusses natural things or diet to treat disease. Doctor prefer to writes too much medicine and tests. Will keep giving you repeat appointments after every 30 days. No water for patient to drink while you wait( basic missing).

Level of service excelent

Strong communication. I love that the doctor doesnt overprescribe medications.
