Caring and compassionate
I have been seeing Dr Sharma for Multiple Sclerosis and more recently PHN from Shingles. Both are extremly painful and Dr. Sharma has been a Godsend. She is so compassionate, knowledgeable and understaning. She not only explains all your options in detail, but actually listens to you. I have been to other pain doctors and most just want to shuffle you in and out. Dr Sharma really cares about her patients and takes the time to explore any and all options avaiable to help. If you have had bad experiences in the past, I would highly suggest making an appointment. Her staff is also wonderful. They remember you by name, treat you with care and respect and although you KNOW they have those days where some patients are less than cordial to them, they never let it reflect in the way they treat you. You also never have to wait longer than 15 minutes. At other pain doctors the usual time would be 90 minutes or more. I highly recommend this Doctor and the office.

Dr. Sharma listens when you talk to her, meaning some doctors only hear, yet they're not listening. She's phenomenal!

Amazing!!
I am so amazed at how she was attentive to what I am experiencing along with my medical history. She is not the type of Dr. that just dispenses drugs. She then referred me to have an MRI of the area affected. She also prescribed medication to help me with the pain hence allowing me endure my daily responsibilities. I can go on & on but I'm limited in space. I will end this review with 'don't hesitate to schedule a session with her. You will mentally thank me,'

My husband and I have been Dr. Sharma's patients since 2006. We've had great care under her and have been schooled a couple of times as well. She does have new partners' to answer to, and she has made the choices necessary to stay within the everchanging laws she must regard. We both love her and feel she has treated us well for 14 years. It is a big money business these days, but what isn't? We have followed her to every location she moves, and feel it is worth the drive. Sure it was great before the drug dealers ruined it for those of us just needing relief. But, the only thing you can be sure of is change.????

Terrible at epidural steroid injections!!!!!!!!!!!! She dug and dug and dug, and gave me an epidural hematoma. DO NOT USE THE SERVICES OF THIS D.O. She is NOT a M.D. and her osteopathic versus medical training is obvious. She is also mean-spirited and doesn’t care anything about patients. Shrugged her shoulders when I admonished her for not returning phone calls during an episode of acute and severe pain.

Saw her for steroid injection. Made my pain worse. On follow up visit, I told her how much pain I experienced. I tried to ask about future pain medicine on a temporary basis & she cut me off. She was rude & dismissed me like I wasn't worth her time. She is extremely moody. First visit, she was bubbly & friendly. Second visit, she was rude, degrading, & intimidating. She would not let me ask my question & she left the room. Humiliating experience. Waited 3 hours at 1st appnt.

Dr Sharma is one of the most caring and honest doctors I have ever met. This woman's skill combined with real empathy for her patients makes her the very best in her field. I have only met one other doctor in the pain management field that seems to care about the pain of their patients. Dr Sharma's empathy, skill and honesty make her the very best.

Practice sees patients as dollar signs I read of human beings that are in pain and need help. Sharma specifically lied to me, refuses to fill out ANY paperwork go help patients (disability, pre-authorization for prescription, etc) Had to beg and plead for years to get meds changed. Her mood seems to be one of the biggest factors in how you'll be treated. Her practice was bought out by a new company that only cares about money and not how patients are cared for or treated.

I saw Dr. Sharma last year for sciatica. I felt she did a great job at explaining to me what my MRI showed and what exactly was causing all my discomfort. She scheduled an ESI to be performed the day following my initial consultation due to the degree of pain I was in and the desire not to use pain medication. She scheduled a second ESI for 10 days following the first one but I didn't need it, my pain was almost gone and has stayed gone for almost a year. I will def go back and see her.

Dr. Sharma grows very agitated at even simple questions, outright shouting if the patient voices any concerns that she overlooks, which are many. I went for my third visit with her today, and she has yet to even read the notes of past doctors and was actually totally unaware of the nature of my injuries. I would literally go to a veterinarian before seeing her again. Uncaring, unprofessional, unknowing, and ill tempered. I only wish that I could score her negative stars.

She is very concerned about telling about her & her family's education...I believe that she profiles apon looks & questions. .instead of explaining a question, she tends to go on about her family education & does not explain or listen to educate the patient.. She decides against her associate's advice & makes it clear she is right. I have been going to PRC under a different Dr for years...have only had 5 visits with Dr Dharma and my pain has increased tremendously!
