Doesn't listen, unprofessional, uncaring
Worst office visit ever. The front desk and assistants were fine. The waiting area was dim, dusty, and I've been more comfortable at a DMV. The doctor did not look at one thing on me. I had asked for specific tests and specific concern and within 5 minutes of meeting me of the total 10 minutes he gave me decided that I was wrong, that I was allergic to specific things (with no test or information), and ordered the wrong blood tests for me. When my results came in the office called me, transferred me to the doctor and he mumbled most things were good but gave me no real result information, the call was less than 45 seconds... and then I received another office visit charge for the 45 second, wrong blood test result that gave me 0 information. I cancelled my follow up appointment. I really needed help and received none.

Pneumonia
I went to this doctor for a follow-up of pneumonia. I asked him to listen to my lungs. Because it didn't seem like he was going to do so. And then he barely even listened to my lungs. I was trying to explain to him that maybe this is fungal and it's not bacterial and I just got completely dismissed. It's now four months later after four rounds of antibiotics and I still don't feel well. The doctor still wants the patient to pay to see him even though he has not solved the problem the first three times. This doctor does not take time with his patients and he does not take concern to your situation. He has cookie cutter regiments in place and if that doesn't work he does not go to the extra mile. I'm a patient now that has been sick for over 4 months and they just completely dismissed the fact that maybe it's a fungal pneumonia or a different type of bacterial pneumonia that's not getting treated correctly. This needs to be addressed. Patients should not be charged if no remedy.

Dr. Kaushik Patel is a very caring, understanding Physician. I've had a lot of Physicians in my life and I've always felt like they cared more about pay than me. Dr. Patel treats me like a human in need of his care. After he knows I've been sick he's even called with no notice, just to see how I am. I love him as my PCP & until death will I part.
