Dr. Katy Morris, MD

This note is for Dr. Morris. I was involved in a serious car accident on April 2, 2019. Every now and then I can remember your voice and somehow during that hazy consciousness I became confident that I would survive. I can’t remember the accident since I was unconscious but I remember you telling me that you could remove my neck brace. Your steady calm confident voice is my first memory after the car accident. I appreciate you so much!! I’ll never forget how awesome North Oaks Trauma Unit was, and their staff! I also remember Aaron and Dr. Fahr and their concerning care for me. Thank you all for saving my life and providing me caring memories forever.

Everything was explain and all questions were answered

I went to see Dr. Morris for shoulder pain. After taking x-rays she recommended reverse shoulder replacement. After being shown a video of what was involved with this procedure, I decided not to have the surgery. I tried to get an appointment to discuss other options with Dr. Morris and was told by someone else in her office, that Dr. Morris said there was no point in making another appointment if I didn't want the surgery or Cortisone shots (which I cannot take). I felt she could have at least spoken to me herself. I sought a second opinion with another doctor and am glad I did. He did not recommend the surgery for me and suggested other types of therapy that could offer some relief.

Very Professional, yet very personal as well.

Yesterday was my First Time ever seeing Dr. Morris and She was Instantly My New Best Friend. She was So Kind, Patient, Compassionate and She Explains your care in terms that are easy to understand. She Certainly makes the Patients welfare her Top Priority...So Glad she's here in Hammond!!!

I'm a disabled vet and have been dealing with the VA and private insurance for my Healthcare. Dr. Morris made me feel like the issues I have going on not only will be addressed but fixed to the best of her ability.

Dr. Katy is everything a patient should expect from their Dr. She checks every box possible when evaluating a Physician. She makes you feel so comfortable when you're with her, you feel like a family member rather than a patient.

+ Dr. Morris is thorough and includes patient in on the treatment plan. +Nancy was welcoming and friendly. +Nurse practitioner and ultrasound tech were nice. -Patients are asked to arrive 15 minutes early, which I did. However, the wait time was unfavorable. The same courtesy to patients regarding their time is not extended. If Dr. Morris was busier than usual (seemed like she was overbooked), then I would have appreciated the courtesy of a phone call to reschedule or at least notification from staff so that I could make the decision whether to wait as long as I did.

Dr. Morris is very patient and treated me well. Unfortunately, she recently broke her leg. She had a long leg cast on her right leg and she was on crutches. Despite her hobbling around and not being able to walk properly, she still worked. That's dedication!

Dr Morris was very through and answered all of our questions. Very patient and did not try and rush us through our appointment.

Dr. Morris has a wonderful gift of explaining orthopedic problems and possible solutions so that common folk can understand what’s going on with their medical health.

Visited Dr Katy again and as usual her upbeat professional yet personal manner is greatly appreciated. I have confidence and take comfort in her care. Having had her surgically repair a torn bicep in the past, I am unconcerned about the prognosis for my current orthopedic issue as my bicep is as good as "new."

Dr. Morris is by far one of the best Dr.’s who have treated me. Even though I had a very rare injury that literally 7 other Dr.’s couldn’t figure out a treatment for, Dr. Morris came up with a plan to get me back on the field. After my awesome experience I referred my mother to her for rotator cuff issues she was having. Dr. Morris provided the same type of care, concern, and expertise for my mother’s injury that she showed me. Anytime someone I know needs to see an Orthopedic, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Morris.

Awesome visit. Wait time was minimal. Dr. Morris very attentative and listened to my symptoms. Will definitely and highly recommend her.

I have been her patient for 3 years. Love her! Trust her completely. She is always patient with me and gives her all. She makes sure she has answers to all the questions you might have. She also has my husband for a patient. He feels the same way I do about her. We will definitely recommend her to our family and friends.

This was my final post-op visit. Dr. Morris listens to first understand! A rare trait these days. I don't want to have another shoulder surgery, but I will absolutely seek her out if that becomes necessary.

Dr. Morris is extremely helpful. She is friendly and explains things well. I was very happy to have switched to her as she gave me relief another MD did not. The staff are just as friendly and helpful. Glad I found her.
