Great surgeon, highly recommend for knee injuries
Dr. Eaton was my second-opinion visit. His strategy for surgery was a lot less invasive and with better longterm success than the first surgeon I visited at the Morsani Center. He based his treatment on my MRI but told me that once he can see inside the knee, he would adjust to the damage he finds. He explained everything to me like an equal. He was compassionate, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. My nerve block lasted 36 hours after surgery, and I only took pain meds for a couple of days after that. Six days after ACL and meniscus surgery, I am pain free and walking without crutches. Great office staff also.

Waited 45 min past my appt time. Front desk didn't tell me they were "working me in", or they were "hours behind all day". Wasn't informed of the delay upon arrival or in advance prior to my arrival. Receptionist made no apologies. I had to leave for work without being seen for this urgent appt. Later I called back asking for the office manager. The receptionist treated me like I was bothering her, was CONFRONTATIONAL, UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, OBNOXIOUS, and ARROGANT. I repeatedly asked to speak with someone else. She refused. I ended up having to call back numerous times, to which she answered the phone saying, "It's me!" "Still me!" "Nope. Sorry. You got me again!" I was not asking for pain medication. I have that. I only needed to be seen for the excruciating pain I'm experiencing that has moved up to my hip. I can't stand longer than 10 minutes due to my knee and now I can't sit longer than 10 minutes due to my hip. With my history of cancer, I hope this isn't metastasis to my pelvis.

Office staff can be off putting. Wait time is very long. Chances of actually seeing doctor, not a PA are slim. Got injection and had bad reaction - questioned PA prior to shot and was told it’s normal(??)

Abrupt bedside manner. Major focus is to operate. He misread my knee MRI. I would not go back and cannot recommend.

I waited over 2 hours before even being seen by the PA. Neither she, nor Dr. Eaton himself, offered any kind of apology for the long wait. Our time is clearly not as important as theirs. No one from the office called me and let me know there was an extraordinarily long wait, or offered to reschedule me. I gladly would have, instead of taking time off work to sit in the waiting room - time I would have to make up. Going to AFOPA next. Not coming back here again.

I've had four knee surgeries, all but one has been done by Dr. Eaton. He helped me gain a life I never thought I'd have. I'm only twenty years old, I met Dr. Eaton at the age of ten. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't be able to climb things, jump, or run. Before I met him I was barely able to walk. I thank God every day for the help this doctor has done for me. I will always support his business.
