Appointment canceled after four months
I have no idea what kind of doctor Dr. Agnello is. I made an appointment with her over four months for this Monday May 20 and her office called and tried to pass me off to a different doctor on the following Wednesday. They had four months to do this and they waited until the Thursday before my appointment. I said forget the whole thing. If I need a GI, I’ll see one up north when I’m there in July. Health care in Charlotte and Sarasota counties are a joke. Because of this inconsideration and inconvenience, I award her schedulers one star.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful Dr Agnello is she took her time to listen to my health issues, very caring and professional i highly recommend her. I’m very lucky to have found such a wonderful GI Doctor here in Venice

She didn't wait to receive pathology report. I didn't have cancer.

Dr. Agnello is great but staff Mallary is rude!!
Hello.. I went to see Dr. Agnello on 2/22/22 for my first appt. I thought she was great! Dr. Agnella sent in a script for a medicine that is not covered under my insurance ($285). No biggie I thought I will just call the office. First of all, you are lucky if you can get through and talk to a live person and second if you leave a message to Dr. Agnello assistant you will be even luckier if she calls you back. I had left a message and told her about my insurance not covering the medicine. She never did to this day call me back. I called the next week and was able to talk to someone live. Her name is Mallary. I again told her about the insurance situation. She told me it was my responsibility to find a medication that my insurance would cover. Much more to the story, but ran out of space.

Dr. Agnello is the most compassionate, kind, and caring doctor that I have ever visited. I would recommend her without any hesitation. She provided knowledgeable, friendly care in an open and safe environment. She always treated me like a priority and worked tirelessly to address any questions or concerns. Happy to have gotten to the bottom of / resolved my symptoms - but sad that I likely won’t have to see her for another 20 years. If you’re not being seen by Dr. Agnello- you’re doing yourself a disservice!
