Excellent Surgeon
My 15-year-old son had his appendix rupture. Doctor Nakano worked with us in the hospital for 11 days to get him healthy enough to go home. She spoke directly to him and made him feel at ease with the many procedures he had to have. She made what could’ve been a nightmare of an experience a little bit easier for the whole family. She was even willing to come in on her day off to check on him when he was having some complications. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needed surgery or any care for that matter.

Beware.
I had an emergency surgery with her and there was numerous little mistakes that occurred over several weeks post op that she apologized for and stated that she would look into these errors. I was due to have another surgery with her a year later but I started to develop symptoms that I was very concerned would affect my 2nd surgery (that was only 5 weeks away). She disregarded ALL my concerns that I ended up having to go the ER to get some answers. I then found out that my pathology from a year prior contradicted her diagnosis. Not only did she never share my pathology with me, I believe she NEVER even read it. I do not know how a surgeon could be okay performing a 2nd surgery on a patient if they were not 100% what was wrong in the first place. Due to her negligence and lack of follow through my disease went untreated for over 1 year and I had over 8 months of daily horrible pain. She made medical decisions about my health without even discussing with me.
