Worst. “Doctor”. Ever.
AWFUL. RUDE. DISGRACE. SHOULDNT even be called a doctor. Worst bedside manner, no empathy. She was mean, dismissive, and very rushed. Wouldn’t listen to me and made me feel like I was dumb and the problem. Completely sarcastic when questioning me and answering. If you have togo to Patient First, go when she’s not there!!!

Lacks empathy ,bad bedside manners
Came in for cats bite follow up ,she gave very vague instructions, when I attempted to clarify with her she barked “stop asking me questions that I had already answered “Her tone was very mean, she’s old if she feels she’s done ,maybe she needs to retire. She’s an absolute embarrassment to the healthcare community.

She spent less than 5 minutes with me
Doctor dismissed all my symptoms didn’t listen. Felt like a race to get me out of there, I waited for an hour so maybe she was trying to catch up by getting me out of there quickly. Tried to tell her my symptoms weren’t normal for me. Felt completely gas lit.

I went to Patient First and saw this provider. Right away she was abrupt and snippy. I had been waiting 2 hours in my car and then another hour in the exam room. Every answer I gave she had a snarky comments like I was bothering her in some way. She was sarcastic and not in a funny way. She barely turned around from the computer to actually speak to me so most of our conversation was her back to me and when she did she had a nasty tone.

Saw my father, who was complaining of pain and difficulty walking. I was present for the entire visit. The doctor knew he was Type II diabetic and had a thyroid condition, said his case was too complex for her practice, drew NO blood, ran NO tests, and referred us to an endocrinologist who could not see us for 2 months. He was in the ER a month after that with extremely high blood sugar; MedStar Good Samaritan now has him doing much better. Go to them instead. Incidentally, the bill after Medicare worked out to exactly what I was quoted previously for myself as an uninsured patient. Imagine that!

She saw me quickly and the staff was friendly and efficient. They all introduced themselves to me and seemed confident and caring in their interactions. Dr. Yamamoto came in quickly after I was given a room and listened well to what I had to say about my problem. She discussed possible causes for my problem and considered my opinions and fears about different treatment options. She also discussed home treatment options to ensure a quick recovery. I left feeling well taken care of and educated.
