She knows her stuff!!
Twice Dr. Seasholtz has prescribed an MRI and after reading it, explained compassionately what was wrong. Then, referred me to the right doctor who saved me from being paralyzed.

Dr Seasholtz completely misdiagnosed my husband. She diagnosed his limping (via an MRI) as caused by a herniated disc and told us surgery was his only option. Referred us to the top Maine Med Neurosurgeon, who told us my husband did not have a herniated disc, did not need surgery and made an appointment with a new neurologist at Maine Med. Long story short: My husband had terminal cancer, had 3 brain tumors, one of which was the cause of his limping. Dr. Seasholtz is a DO of Neurology who cannot read a simple MRI of the back. She is incompetent and should not be allowed near patients.

Office staff is friendly and welcoming and I haven't waited longer than 5 minutes in the waiting room and wait maybe 10 once in the exam room. Dr. Seasholtz hasn't made me feel rushed during appointments and is comforting. I'm happy to have her as my neurologist.

Never felt like she listened too much or treated me as a whole patient. She didn’t really seem like she cared to come up with a treatment plan that helped or get creative with it even ignored things could have been better. Everything was just mediocre, especially since my neuro before her went way above and beyond and wanted me as a human to feel as best I could (while being realistic). She never really explained new diagnoses to me. Staff at her office are always excellent.

Dr. Seasholtz is very hard to get a hold of, and I feel like she hasn't listened to me at all. She prescribed a medication for me the I TOLD her would make one of my other problems worse and it happened. She does't have a bedside manner, doesn't listen, and doesn't answer calls. It really is as simple as that.
