I had a horrible experience dealing with Dr. Mill's Office staff, Brittney her surgery scheduler. My surgery was scheduled on 7-7 then started receiving calls from the hospital indicating surgery was scheduled for 7-14. When I called the office with concerns my calls went unanswered. I made multiple follow ups with the office asking to speak with the office manager, in addition left messages for Dr. Mills while also using online portal to no avail. After a month and filing a Grievance with BCBS then Rebecca reach out to me. She told BCBS that she tried to contact me (yes, a month later) This is unacceptable and unprofessional from any healthcare provider. Why didn't Dr. Mills return my calls? Unfortunately, since this practice has multiple doctors using the same staff, I had to also find a new breast specialist. Ironic when BCBS contacted me today 8-27 they said Rebecca indicated it was a Covid mistake??? Although that was never shared with me as a patient.

Dr Mills is a smart intelligent Gyne-Oncologist who comes two days a week to Northwest Community Hospital. Her surgeon skills and expertise are what a person needs when dealing with cancer. I wasn’t sure at my first visit because I was overwhelmed with the cancer diagnosis and she also wanted to focus on my needing to lose weight to deal with other health issues. Not what I wanted to hear at that moment. It was too much at once. However, if you want a doctor who is a great surgeon and works with cancer, Dr Mills is the right choice. She and her PA Ellen answer emails in a timely manner and have a wealth of information. She did a total hysterectomy with robotic for endometrial cancer stage 1A. My follow-up visit she took the time to explain the pathology report and answered my many questions. I would recommend Dr Mills.
