Dr. Kathryn Glass, MD

She misdiagnosed my son and he ended up needing surgery after seeing a specialist. The specialist could not believe the things she told us, he was in complete shock as he looked to his resident physicians. Disgraceful. She needs to do more research or dismiss herself from medicine altogether. Don't direct people if you know nothing.

Sixteen years ago our miracle son was born. Dr Glass was his first pediatrician. Sentara Pediatrics. She was excellent. Unfortunately she moved from the area when he was two. We are thankful to have been blessed to have her to guide us early on as new parents with the health of our only child. I can’t comment on how she is currently but I have utilized and taught others some of the things she taught us. Thank you DR. Glass.

Will never step foot in her office again. Not only did she miss a diagnosis that my son is still suffering with and will have additional surgeries for, she attempted to make me feel like a bad mother and all but shoved vaccines into him. I told her numerous times my daughter almost DIED from them at 12 months so I’ve chosen to delay. She didn’t care, didn’t listen, and continued to push them wanting me to sign a vaccine catch up contract, ignoring the reason I was there, a SICK CHILD visit. There’s so much more involving a referral she gave, but I cannot get into that now. I just had to leave this short and sweet review so people would at least know to use her with caution.

We have no family here in Houston so Dr. Glass is who we trusted. After our daughter had her 1st year follow up she presented a reaction to one of her vaccines. Dr. Glass said it was a virus. Hand and feet virus to be exact. She presented herself as uncaring and made me feel I was crazy and used hand sanitizer almost every 10 seconds while checking up our baby. We had another pediatrician look at our daughter two days later just to tell us it was a reaction to the vaccine. It wasn't a virus.

Dr Glass was highly recommended to us based on the amount of time and care she supposedly spends with her patients. We recently moved to Houston and made an appointment with Dr. Glass. After waiting over an hour, she rushed us through our appointment in less than 10 minutes and didn't answer any of our concerns. She had no time for our child or us and didn't seem to care that she was rushing us. Really really disappointed - we've never experienced this before.
