My wife and I took our 9-year old daughter to her when she fell and broke her elbow. We thought she was great. She had a good rapport with our daughter and did an very good job of explaining to my wife and I what she was seeing in the x-ray and what our treatment options were. We would definitely recommend her.

To the reviews here on the board. I must say I disagree with the bad she is direct but was the most informative of the surgeons we saw when getting the second opinions. The first doctor we had did not explain anything and was unwilling to talk about alternative solutions vs surgery. Dr. Bauer looked at his scans and agreed but took the extra time to show us why and offered alternative solutions. We elected for the procedure & she has been amazing, and gave our daughter new hope. Thank you

Dr. Bauer is not a friendly woman. She gestured with her hand to have us rush through our explanation. No bed-side manner and I am switching to a different Dr. for our follow-up. I have never met a Dr with such a horrible attitude. If I could give zero stars I would.

Dr. Bauer should NOT be treating pediatric patients. She FAILS horribly at bedside manner & compassion. She kept cutting my child off after asking my child to explain how the accident happened. I'm a very educated and informed parent, I'm an ICU nurse. I called the day after initial visit to let her know pain was way out of control. She refused to call any additional meds in and said we would review it at the next visit...over 24 hrs later. I had to threaten to take my child back to the ER. F-
