Caring, thorough, amazing doctor. I'm shocked at the negative reviews. I was at Los Alamitos hospital for covid and bacterial pneumonia. Dr. McLeod was so sweet and kind. She held my hands when I cried and assured me I would be ok. I had a resistant pneumonia. I needed 2 weeks of IV antibiotics. My kids needed me home so she arranged home nurse care so I could do my second week at home. She tested and adjusted my medication instead of guessing. She is one of the best doctors I have ever met. If you're reading this Dr. McLeod you saved my life and you are my hero!

Let me sum this "doctor"/ Lab-rat up in one short paragraph. An absolute disgrace to the medical field, I don't know whether to call it old age, or finally over her job, but this lady needs help on how to deal with patients, she's condescending and downright insensitive. She needs to retire because she is in no condition to handle her job at this point, stay away from Los Alamitos Hospital if she's there!!!

Dr. MacLeod showed nothing but class and grace while she dealt with me. While we are still searching for a diagnosis, I have found peace of mind through her and her reassuring manner and professionalism, and would recommend that any of my peers seek her services if they are in need. While she was extremely busy, she always managed to check-in with me. 5/5, absolutely.

If I could score this doctor lower than a 1 star I would. She is absolutely horrible. Horrible bedside manner! So close to disgusting, certainly someone you do not want near your loved one! I should of spoken up the first time I experienced her negative attitude that she did not do her best for my loved one. That she basically gave up on her and did not care. After meeting other infection doctors after her I realized she really didn't care. And not that my loved one's case was hopeless.
