Dr. Kathleen Holoyda, MD

I was told back in July of 2022 that I would need a double mastectomy due to carrying the BRACA gene and being diagnosed with ovarian cancer. My chances of also developing breast cancer were 78%. I live in Reno Nevada and unfortunately I was assigned a plastic reconstructive surgeon that I didn’t approve of due to the fact that the general surgeon only used him. My worst nightmares came true. I ended up with four emergency surgeries my final results were nothing but large deformities in my chest area especially on the right. I was recommended to see Dr. Kathleen Holoyda. I was so impressed with her she explained how she could help but never over promised there was a lot to do to fix my problems I had. She is very professional and yet so approachable and kind.
