Great doctor!!
Dr. Herbig was an amazing surgeon. I am not sure where the 1 stars for this provider came from.. ? she is great at what she does. When I was in recovery the nurse had a question about one of my drains. Not only did her PA come down and take a look but so did Dr. Herbig herself. She took a look and said everything looked ok. She took care of me and explained things so well before and after surgery. She takes her time and it shows in her work that she does. Very happy with my breast reduction. Minimal pain afterwords. Great doctor. I’m so confused on where these negative comments are coming from.

Dr. Herbig: BIG FAT ZERO
Dr. Herbig DOES NOT LISTEN. Instead, she relies on her preconceived notions and goes off on tangents unrelated to the reason for the appointment. It took me four months to get in to see her, and she was a big fat ZERO.

shows over ladies
I already updated my new phone number with the office, but knoxville is such a boring place that the receptionists really wanted to see what a woman who wants a double mastectomy withOUT cancer looks like- so they pretended like they did not have my new number, and they did not bother to email me to tell me that HerBig does not do mastectomies. Actualy, I wanted an A cup. So, herbig does not have the skill to do massive breast reductions- even if the patient very much needs them. She does not care or understand about physical back pain. In addition, herbig does not care that my breast inhibit my ability to fully participate in my physical activities and hobbies that I enjoy doing because of the pain that I have to endure. Herbg would rather string women along, and give her patients multiple surgeries milking their insurance even tho she knows that she will never make their breasts look the same ever again.LADIES! YOUR HEART, MIND, AND SOUL MAKE YOU A WOMAN!NOT YOUR BREASTS!!

Incredible doctor
Dr Herbig has performed my reconstruction after a double mastectomy. She is fantastic, she listens carefully to her patients, never rushes with you and explains everything so clearly. She has wonderful bedside manner and her PA, Meika is also incredible. This team is amazing at what they do. I can’t thank her and her team enough for giving me normalcy after a tough season of life.

I went to see this doctor twice with my daughter, this office was very unprofessional. First visit they gave her the wrong day, wrong building and wrong office number, we were told the doctor does not see patients on Wednesday, why did they give her that day? The second visit the doctor would not even talk to my daughter. She was told by a smirking assistant that she was too big. Very insulting. Supposedly the assistant went to speak to the Doctor after weighing my daughter and came back and said the doctor will not even speak with you. We both missed to days of work for what? Insults?

During two very long surgical procedures, something went wrong, and it was never reviewed. Post op infection, discharged too soon. My primary care provider sent me back to UT ER due to the infection. Permanent nerve damage and disability after breast reconstruction. Dr. Herbig showed very little concern, and left a skin flap that should have been removed.
