Excellent Physician! Highly Recommend!
I am a long-time patient of Dr. Flint's so she has been treating me for a number of years. Over that time she has always been caring and concerned and provided the best overall treatment for my condition. She takes the necessary time to evaluate me during my visits and as my condition has worsened with age, she has recommended new treatments she believed were in my best interest to consider. I highly recommend her!

My primary care doctor referred me because he was having trouble pinning down a diagnosis for some vein inflammation and arthritis issues. It took forever to schedule an appointment (common in the Columbia area), but definitely worth the wait. Office staff was very careful about the coronavirus and I was treated professionally. Dr. Flint provided a really thorough exam. She spent more time with me than, possibly any doctor I have ever visited. I would highly recommend this practice.

I just had my 1st appt. with Dr. Flint. I found her to be very thorough in my exam. She had a great bedside manner, and put me at ease right away. She explained everything as we went along with the initial exam, and even explained the game-plan going forward once test results are received back. Don't be discouraged at the long wait time for your 1st appt. as you'll be glad you waited. After my exam I understood why the wait time, as she looks at everything.

If you have to wait to get an appointment, Dr. Flint is worth the wait. I had persistent and increasing hip pain for which my family doctor kept increasing pain meds. When I saw Dr. Flint, I had the most thorough exam I ever had - including talk about my history and symptoms, physical exam, x-rays, blood work - all with caring about getting to the bottom of the problem. The result was referral to an orthopaedic surgeon for hip replacement, but I still see Dr Flint for arthritis elsewhere.

I am nice and good for business. My medical records support this statement. The staff is rude, condescending, and lied to me over and over. I sent them seven years of medical history. My records were viewed by the entire staff of four. The talk and private prescription history was the ongoing commentary. My records were left open on counter top's viewed by everyone. They held my records for six weeks and failed to notify me. I kept calling. I finally went by and got everything. Don't go there.

I would not recommend Dr Flint to any friend or family. She's good at diagnosing, however is very lacking in treating any condition. Much less a condition that effects a patient's quality of life.

Dr. Flint conducted a extremely thorough assessment - & at 1st appt pronounced: dx of Ankylosing Spondylitis. But blood work was negative for the AK gene (HLA-B27), so I don't have it. If there been no genetic test, she said she would tx me for AK based on clinical findings. 3 years later with worsening & additional symptoms, she will not see me - "can't help." Or maybe, she NOW KNOWS THAT THE AK GENE IS NOT A CRITERION FOR AK!!
