Dr. Nick & Dr. Kathleen Colorado are incredible!
My husband and I have been going to Dr. Colorados office for years. We moved from the Fishhawk Ranch area to Bradenton a few years ago. I will always drive to their office over looking for another dermatologist. Both Dr. Nick and Dr. Kathleen Colorado listen to all my concerns and have helped me immensely. They are both amazing & have done so much to help me with my skin condition. I could never ask for better care! The entire staff are all friendly and very kind. They get 10 stars from us.

Will never go back. Did not give a chance to fill out the 4-5 pages of paperwork before being seen (which means that I didn't get a chance to review their privacy or other policies before being examined). I was placed in a room with all manner of medical (?) materials already laying out, including syringes filled with unknown fluid, (am phobic of needles and syringes) and given less than 2 minutes to undress and get into the paper vest and drape before the doctor came in. A cursory skin examination was done with a mirror that was in poor repair (plastic was flaking off the edges) and when I discarded the paper vest and drape, I realized that the trashcan was already full (I was seen at 9am and the office opened at 8:30). They seem to be a busy practice, but am not confident that they have any interest in my health or wellbeing.

Unfortunately I will not be recommending Dr. Colorado or any of her staff for services. I saw Dr. Colorado yesterday and got a few prescriptions from her. CVS called to let me know that the prescription was written incorrectly and they needed to verify with the Dr. Not a big deal, I called the office to let them know. Kami was incredibly rude to me for no reason at all. Actually ruined my day, it was shocking that she would talk to a patient that way. So disappointing.

Valrico, FL – Aug 01, 2017
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Colorado?
I was looking for a Dermatologist close to my home in Valrico. I left a very good Doctor in Tampa that I had for 14 + years to avoid the Crosstown. Things at first seamed fine lots of questions. However at some point the lady asking questions was holding a container of some kind of freezing and running around the table suiting various skin areas that needed attention. Than she exits the room and comes back saying we need to get you records and we will call you. I would never go back.

She doesn't care about her patients. There's mold everywhere you look in the office. The building should be condemned. The room I was seen in had obgyn equipment in it, why is this equipment even in a dermatology office. The staff is rude and not helpful at all. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone not even my wit enemy. Look elsewhere.

I didn't feel like Dr. Colorado gave me a real consultation. I came in because my hair had been falling out and she didn't even look at my scalp. I would not recommend her to anyone.

Went to this doctor for an annual skin exam. While the doctor was nice, I do not feel she did a thorough job. Her staff was not so friendly. The main reason for my 2 stars, is that the office was dirty! Mold on the ceiling stains on the trash cans, and water damage showing through the wall paper. I was afraid to stand on the floor for whatever germs might be lurking. Lastly, I was over billed (they didnt bother checking with my insurance company on my co payment).

My dermatologist of 20 years retired which left me looking for a doctor of her caliber. I found that in Dr Colorado. I had no wait time, her staff is friendly, and Dr Colorado was exceptional. She is thoughtful and takes the time to explain the issue(s) and treatment. She does not over book which is most appreciated. I am thankful to have found her.

She used to be very good. However, the last time I went, she gave me special prescriptions that were mail order - for two creams and two months worth of pills, my insurance was charged $2800. No medicine is worth that, she has sold out. Go somewhere else.
