Dr. Kathleen Boyls, MD

Dr. Boyls is a consummate professional and an incredible diagnostician. She will stay as long as is needed to see a sick patient needing immediate care. She has always been friendly and considerate with us and our son. She is a primary reason we have chosen to stay in Tulsa area. We simply will not find an equivalent pediatrician elsewhere.

For us, the one appointment was definitely enough to not return. She was rude and condescending, very judgy. Just no bedside manner, or manners at all for new patients.

Dr. Boyls was my doctor for about 7 years from the time I was 11-18. Throughout my time as her patient she only ever focused on one thing, my height. Anytime I would go to my checkups she pointed out how short I was and how concerned it made her feel. It got to the point that she send me to get blood work done at another clinic. When I went to the appointment the doctors told me there was nothing to worry about it was simply due to genetics. Which is something my mom told her multiple times. Dr. Boyls lowered my self esteem so much that I refused to go to my yearly checkups for about 2 years. Anytime I would bring up any other issues that didn't have to do with my height she simply ignored them. At the time I was dealing with anxiety and panic attacks. She never ones seemed to care about my concerns. Her attitude was always extremely rude and condescending. She is not someone I'd recommend being around kids. She shows no empathy or care for her patients.

Took close to an hour to get roomed. Very rude and does not have any bed side manner. My son has Autism and she completely discredited what I was saying and diagnosed him with something he has never had an issue with. Her attitude comes across as she’s the doctor so don’t question her opinion. Never went back to her after that and canceled my daughters appointment.

We continually wait over 45 minutes for scheduled appointments, just to be confronted with condescension and judgment. I do not care for Dr. Boyls and her approach to patients and the parents of patients. I will not be returning with my children.

Dr. Boyls is very smart and considerate of all my concerns (no matter how silly!). She has also been a great advocate for my daughter and I. I would highly recommend her!
