Caring and supportive team
Great team for not just bringing back your voice but making it better. It's scary to work through the physical and mental challenges of voice issues. They are supportive and help you grow confidence in your own vocal practice. Couldn't ask for better team than Dr Yung and Kristin Bond. Thanks.

Dr. Yung has treated 2 of my family members. She is an incredible doctor and has wonderful bedside manner. My aunt's right vocal chord was paralyzed due to a mass removed on her nerve, and Dr. Yung performed a surgery that allowed her to speak, not to mention sing, normally again. She also went out of her way to accommodate my father-in-law into her schedule. Other doctors had misdiagnosed his loss of voice to acid reflux and allergies, leading him to take a host of other drugs and inhalers, but Dr. Yung figured out the root of the problem and solved his voice issues. Can't recommend her enough!

I am so very thankful to have met Dr. Katherine Yung. I was unable to use my voice for nearly two years because of spastic dysphonia. I was referred to Dr. Yung by my ENT for a botox treatment. She administered botox to my vocal cords and after two weeks I had my voice back again. I am so thankful to Dr. Yung for her professionalism, bravery and skilled knowledge. Communication is everything and she restored my voice in this world.

I've been a patient of Dr. Yung for almost a year now. We've gone through 3 surgeries and several pre and post op appointments. i find her to be pleasant and professional. she's knowledgeable about my history and always prepared for our appointments. Because she's taken the time to become failiar with my history and case, she's able to perform the procedures necessary to put me on the path to a full life again. She's given me hope again. I would recommend Dr. Yung in a heartbeat.

I was kept waiting for over an hour with no explanation of, or apology for, the delay. The exam chair was inaccessible (I am a wheelchair user) and excruciatingly painful for me to sit in. UCSF you can and should do better!
