Wow! Dr. Kathy Welker is great physician!
I had the good fortune to have Dr. Welker as my physician. I went to emergency, following a visit to urgent care, with a very concerning issue, and had accepted that I was going to have to have surgery to resolve it. Dr. Welker did a thorough set of labs, ordered imaging, and based on elimination of possibilities, came to the conclusion that I had an injury to my back that was causing pain at remote locations. Dr. Welker not only did a thorough examination of me, she shared her reasoning and analysis as well. It is clear that Dr. Welker is quite brilliant. But, so many times you meet smart professionals and they are arrogant, aloof, or disengaged. Dr. Welker was none of these. She is a very smart, kind, person that has decided to help her fellow humans by becoming a physician.I was discharged from the hospital feeling relieved, I was treated and my condition improved, and I felt that I was educated by her as well.Dr. Welker is a super person, and a great doctor.

It does not get much better than Dr. Katherine!!! From her bedside manner, her bedside manner, her TLC to the fact she holds way too many degrees....and everything in between, Dr. Welker is second to none!!!! It was a bummer we had to meet in difficult circumstances. Don't hesitate to get treated by her for anything and everything, I'm thankful for you doc.! Hudi E
