Dr. Katherine Leicht, DO

Dr Leicht is cares deeply for her patients. Let her do her thing by analyzing and intaking you holistically. She is extremely smart, quick, and will ensure you're well taken care of. I trust her with my whole family. Thank you Dr Katie Leicht!

She cut me off repeatedly because she assumed she knew what I was trying to say, then when I corrected her on what I actually was trying to say, she was dismissive. She also made assumptions about my lifestyle based on my weight. She told me my knee and foot pain was because I am "flat footed and knock-kneed" and I need to exercise, without ever actually doing the proper tests or having me stand properly to determine if I was actually flat footed and "knock kneed", also what a flattering, professional way of putting it, right? Also, assuming that I don't exercise already? She never asked me if I do or not, or what might have been the cause of the pain. She seemed to think she knows everything, so why bother asking? She seemed to go out of her way to tell me that she wasn't judging me on my weight, but her assumptions said otherwise, and telling me that I "don't have a trauma, which is what going to urgent care is for" was great. The pain couldn't be from anything but my weight, right?

She is very caring, listens to you and has so much knowledge

Refreshing doctor - listened to my complaints and walked me through the treatment necessary. Couldn’t have asked for anything more!

She then asked me if I rolled my eyes at her when I looked away because she completely cut me off. Asked to see a different doctor after that and when she was on her way back in I heard her say “I’m not worried about it.” Though I’m not sure if this was about my treatment or how she feels towards the situation, her behavior is unacceptable. This is a Baylor facility and they are top of the line. Dr. Leicht was a completely waste of my time and money. I’d recommend avoiding her at all costs.

Dr Leicht has gone above and beyond for me. She worked tirelessly to find out what was wrong with me when I just wouldn’t stop getting sick. Thanks to her we found out what was wrong and were able to address the problem. If it wasn’t for Dr Leicht I would’ve ended up in a lot worse condition than I was. No other doctors would listen to me. Dr Leicht listens to her patients and goes beyond a quick appointment to find out the issues. I highly recommend her as a primary care doctor!

Horrible experience. I was degraded. I wouldn’t recommend her to my worst enemy. She does not listen at all. She knows it all. She did do what was appropriate medically. I could not wait to get out of there. I wanted to cry. I could go on, but I won’t. Maybe she’s overworked, but it wasn’t my fault.
