It's the staff I am rating, not Dr. Day.
We can't say. My daughter-in-law never got in to see Dr. Day or any of the other doctors at North Bay. She had a sudden onset, very severe inner and outer ear infection with excruciating pain. The UC ER doctor recommended North Bay stressing the urgency of an appt asap. She called the next day leaving voicemails that were never returned. I and a current patient of NB called - staff answered. We both urged them for an appointment for her and explained the numerous high risk health issues she has. They contacted her while she was at her 3rd ER visit in 4 days with an appt at 8:10AM at the Havre de Grace office. They arrived at a dark locked office. They had been sent to the wrong office. After leaving many more voicemails, staff finally answered. The next appt available was a week later but was retracted, because for some unknown, crazy reason she was told she had to see an audiologist first and couldn't get in until another 2 weeks. Even that appt never occurred. A frustrating ordeal.

Rx Patient runarounds'
I have never been more dissatisfied then the services rendered at the Belair office I been trying to see Dr Day for the past 6 months and they keep cancelling my appt advising me to see David the PA I seen David twice over the past 2 years and simply is not addressing the source of my condition which is why I requested an assessment From Dr Day they obviously have more patients then they can handle and have no regard to the scheduling procedure they implement. When I asked about next available appt. which was in Feb. the office insisted to schedule that appt. with P.A.This was a red flag and a warning to seek help elsewhere from a ENT group with higher standards.

First of all the entire office staff should be fired. Every time you call one of two things will happen, either no one will answer or you will get “North Bay ENT please hold.” I’ve been on hold numerous times over 15 minutes. I’ve yet to talk to someone the first time I’ve called. To get an appointment it takes about 3 months wait time for a follow up, I can only imagine how long it would take for a new patient. Now on to the Dr. I’ve seen Dr. Day three times. Two of those times I’ve had tests ordered, CT scans etc. One time the person doing the CT said the test she ordered didn’t exist. I was told I would be called with the results. No one has ever called. I’ve had to get my results from my primary care Dr. Since I have been diagnosed with Tinnitus she has basically said “sorry nothing we can do” without telling me what kind of Tinnitus I have, subjective or objective. Didn’t recommend any relief or help at all. How she is rated a “Top Doc” is a bewilderment to me.

After waiting a month to see Dr. Day, we were called the day before the appointment with a cryptic message that we had to see a pulmonologist. I figured it was a pulmonologist at their office. We went to the appointment, and were told it had been canceled, that we would have to start the process all over with a completely new pulmonologist. We were treated very poorly, and besides, everyone we talk to say ENT is the person to close a trach hole that didn't close on its own.

Dr. Day is very caring, compassionate and listens to you & explains everything very clearly so you can understand. I have been a patient for many years at the office and she has been my ENT for several years. I am very pleased with her and she is nice to talk too an not in a hurry. I highly recommend her for all ages.

Dr. Day is pleasant. But the staff in the scheduling department is always very rude and unprofessional. If you have a urgent need. Don't count on them to make accommodations to help. A few years back my sons eardrum had busted. We called from the emergency room at the hospital to see if he could be seen. He had blood dripping out his ear. They then stated they were booked for the day. I was pleading with them to see him that day. The doctors need to address the unprofessionalism in the office.

My grandsons, daughter, husband, neighbor and myself are all patients of Dr. Day. She was able to diagnose a potentially fatal infection in my husband. He is able to breathe again and his over all health has improved greatly. She is more than kind and caring with the grandchildren. One was 3 and one is 12. She adapted to both of their needs and addressed their fears. I have arrived at my appointments early, sometimes 45 minutes early. I have been seen with little wait time.

Over-booked. Don't count on your appointment date/time being met. Seems to be a good doctor but scheduling is entirely at her (or her staff's) convenience. Don't hesitate to double-book another doctor and cancel her.
