Dr. Katherine Boyd, MD

Our first visit, my husband was not taken to the ultrasound room and missed it. Dr. Boyd was very rude and judge mental to my husband and she answered my questions very vague and did not give us any details. She made me schedule my next appointment at 9am which I was not available for.

Dr. Boyd is a very caring doctor. She gives her time without hesitation.

I, like many others, am a survivor of SA. Which to me, is something very important to notify any gyno doctors of, especially when it is your first go around with someone new. Did she ask? Of course not, but I did tell her at the beginning if the appointment. Dr. Boyd man handled me, she ripped open my gown to do a breast exam, then when finished she actually, legitimately pushed me back and threw my legs in the stirrups. She was so aggressive she made me bleed, then continued to say it was my fault. She disregarded my career choice, saying I do not belong working with children because of my hair and my tattoos, belittled my fiance, and had a lot of other rude remarks to say. The entire appointment with her in the room MAYBE lasted 7 minutes but felt like eternity. When I explained my situation and how violated I felt she discharged me as a patient and cancelled my birth control script. With how cold and rude she is, I cannot believe she has as many positive reviews as she does.

No words can describe my love and respect to Dr Boyd she truly deserves it and highly recommended her to my family members relatives and friends simply I like the way she treats me with care she is just professional caring loving doctor looking forward seeing her after six months nothing to say about Dr Boyd just may almighty God gives her health , wealth and long live to my favorite OBGYN Dr Cathrine L Boyd Suhair Rafo

Wow, per your post, this is exactly what happened to my aunt. She proceeded to ask of her age ( even though that should be known prior) and insisted to have a hysterectomy. My aunt came in to surgery thinking that only her cyst was going to be removed ( my aunts request). She was going into surgery not knowing she was going to completely remove her ovaries. She hid information prior to the surgery. My aunt doesn’t speak English that well and her daughter was her translator. Boyd proceeded to put her hand over her face with frustration, when my aunt couldn’t understand what she was fully saying. RUN FROM HER. She’s rude, disrespectful, and hides information from patients.

Dangerous Doctor! Dishonest and hides information that can be life threatening. I was a patient for 20 years. Trusted Boyd. After monitoring my ovaries with cyst, fibroids, and family histories of ovarian cancer, she suggested a full hysterectomy to remove everything. Alarmingly, she left the ovary in due to difficulty getting it out in the alloted hour and a half, as she had to rush off to her next surgery. Then she hid the fact that she left it in and I found out when my General Practioner requested an ultra sound due to pain where the ovary still is. Run from this Doctor! Find an honest and competent Gynecologist!

My primary doctor referred to me to Dr. Boyd. Her and her staff made me feel so comfortable and I feel as if I have been seeing her for years.

Dr Boyd made my first pregnancy absolutely terrible. From my experience, she pushes for c-sections, cosmetic genital surgery on newborns, and early scheduled inductions. She also seems to milk insurance for every penny she can get. The front staff argued with me about what my insurance covered even though I knew that it covered ALL prenatal care at 100%. Once they realized that I wasn't lying, they were suddenly able to fit me in weekly or twice weekly with no explanation as to why I needed those appointments. I only saw the actual Dr twice and both times, her bedside manner was terrible. The nurses that I saw for the rest of my pregnancy were not much better and even made derogatory comments about my stretch marks.

I LOVE Dr. Boyd! She has been my OBGYN since I was a teenager and now she will deliver my first baby. She’s honest, straight to the point and she makes you feel like you are her number one patient. Also, her staff is amazing. My personal opinion is that if there are great, happy nurses then the doctor must me running a great practice.

Dr. Boyd has been my GYN for twenty years. While I did not have children, she did diagnose and surgically-repair a complicated condition. Before, during and after my surgery, she displayed warm and genuine care to me and to my family. Over literally decades, I have found Dr. Boyd to be consistently-invested, curious and supportive of my life and of my well-being. Her diagnoses and treatment plans have been spot-on. Her new offices are top-drawer. Her staff has always been great to me. During my last visit, literally five staff members interacted with or took care of me and each was kind, helpful and warm.

She is the worst obgyn I have ever had. After just one appointment I realized that she does not care about her patients at all and she is one of the oddest doctors I have ever had to talk to. DO NOT GO TO THIS LADY. SHE SHOULD NOT BE A DOCTOR AT ALL.

I visited yesterday her after waiting a whole month to be seen. This was my first doctors appointment for my first pregnancy ever and it was HORRIBLE. The staff and the nurse was very nice but once Dr. Boyd came in the entire experience changed. She was conveniently missing the birth of one of her other patients, which caused her to literally rush her entire time seeing me! She took my babies heartbeat without even acknowledging to me & my boyfriend what it was HORRIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL.

She is wonderful. She gives great care. She found the resolution to a longtime problem and got me the answers I needed to finally carry a baby full term. I can't thank her enough.
