Unsuitable for weight management
Saw him about 2 yrs. I asked him for help with my weight several times and he gave me the general advice I already knew. I tried one more time this January and asked him for the weight loss injections. His response to me was that he could prescribe me any medication but it wouldn’t work. He didn’t even listen about my concerns of my high blood pressure because he said ppl who are overweight have high blood pressure even though it had only been high the last year. I was crying in the office and felt so defeated and unheard. A different doctor was recommended to me so I made an appointment and on the first visit the doctor put me on blood pressure medicine and the injections. Since February I have lost 112 pounds. I’m so happy and feel so much better and I’m still going. Do not use Dr. Iqbal for weight, he will not help at all and will dismiss concerns if you are overweight.

Appreciation
I am writing to express my appreciation and thanks for the excellent care Dr, Iqbal has given me over the last few years. It has been a pleasure for me to be his patient. At the urging of my son Benjamin I joined my wife Leslie in assisted living at Hamilton Point, not fully realizing what this entails. Again heartfelt thanks to this wonderful doctor. John Gibson

Nicest doctor I have ever met.
I brought my son in for a sore throat and even though they were extremely busy, they got us in and out of there quickly. However, Kashif spent more time with my son asking him about his symptoms and understanding how he felt even though he already knew the strep test was positive. When he asked to prescribe him antibiotics, I told him about how my son had a hard time swallowing pills. We talked back and forth a bit about what we could do, and ultimately we decided on small capsules. However, when we picked up his prescription the pharmacist told us what was sent over in the prescription was liquid form. Thank you Kashif. Thank you for taking the time to take care of my son.

I have a family history of kidney problems. I came in with pains in my left kidney. He said it sounds like a kidney stone but ordered a urine screen. After the results came back he had an assistant call me and say "no further testing is required because there's no blood in the urine". Didn't address the pain issue or suggest any lifestyle or diet changes or any guidance.......

My 11 year old daughter was seen by Dr. Kashif Iqbal on Sunday, 4-7-19 around 6:15 PM. Her normal breathing sounded like someone was pouring hot water over Ice (terrible crackling sound) YES, it was that bad! She also had a terrible cough (which made the crackling sound worse) & pain in her upper right back. Doctor took a little to her and said I believe this child has pneumonia in her right lung & I'm ordering a chest X-Ray. He came back in to the room and said well her x-ray is 100% normal.

He was terrible. I went to urgent care gateway with an ear infection and he claimed I had an upper respiratory infection. Sent me on my way with an antibiotic. Was awake the whole entire night crying in pain while my ear popped and drained. He barely looked at my ear and didn't listen when I told him I knew it was an ear infection. The next day I was in so much pain I cried on and off all day. Went to the Mercy urgent care and was properly diagnosed with an ear infection and given the right meds

He is not friendly. If you talk to him before he asks you too, he will ignore you. He does not seem concerned about high test results in someone with Diabetes, Heart disease.

Very rude, and unprofessional. At one point the doctor left the room without saying anything, and didn't return. About 15 minutes later a nurse came in surprised to see me, and said the doctor was finished. I will never go back to the doctor.
