She saw my cousin some months ago because he was having trouble breathing. Also trouble swallowing and a lot of muscle weakness and inexplicable wasting. She dispatched him saying that it must be "mental illness" because his lungs were fine. She wrote that in the reccords. This poisoned his whole path towards trying to find a diagnosis. Whenever he went into a hospital for diagnosis this label would come up, so not listened to and treated like crp. His breathing problems got much worse and evolved into super severe neurologic suffering. After one year of suffering and being mistreated and mislabeled thanks to dr. Patels 10 minute appointment and "hypocondriac" labeling, he has been diagnose (3 days ago by a doctor who cares to listen) with Neuromyelitis optica, a super serious neurologic and spinal cord autoimmune illness. It took so long and he is hasnt got any treatment yet, and he might die at any moment, he is hospital now. Thank you Dr. Patel.
