His service is not the same.
You don't see the doctor unless you join a privet service known as concierge. I don't want to spend $2100.00 a year per family member. He does offer a nurse practitioner that is very qualified to do what is needed to be done at your visit. She does good at a visit, but when it comes to getting back to you it does not happen. I had too visits, and each one she was to get back to me. The first time she never got back to me. The second time she never got back to me. Two weeks later I called, and the office staff said she will get back to me. Eight days later still no call back. He is a very good doctor, BUT, I feel that he is letting his practice go downhill. I never got a survey asking how your visit went so how can he evaluate his practice. Please make your own evaluation on picking a doctor to care for you.

Used to be ok. Now he’s a concierge and wants a ridiculous amount per year to continue to see him…..bye.

Excellent doctor, great staff
Dr. Zimmerman and his PA Michelle Zimmerman have been my primary doctors for over 20 years. They take time to carefully probe into all issues I have, seeing the full picture and how one aspect can affect another. They afford me as much time as I need to feel comfortable with any treatment or alternatives. I am very grateful to have them as my physicians.

Cannot say enough about this practice! I recently started seeing Dr. Zimmerman and Michelle Zimmerman, NP and feel completely comfortable scheduling appointments with either of them for my medical needs. I've never been to a practice that spends the time and attention that they both do with their patients.

I've been to many doctors around the West Chester and Kennett areas and Dr. Zimmerman and his staff are by far, the best. They truly take their time with each patient and the care and attention to detail is fantastic. I can honestly say I would not be in the health state I am right now without Willowdale Internal Medicine.

Great practice! Feel completely comfortable alternating visits between Dr. Zimmerman and Michele Zimmerman, NP. Both very thorough, kind, and caring. Take time to listen and address all concerns. Staff recently changed and experience with them has been good. Highly recommend this practice!

Staff is very rude & unaccommodating. Doctor now requires you to alternate visits with his wife, a NP! Not what I agreed to when I selected him as my PCP. He will no longer talk to you on the phone. He used to be great, but it now appears he's more concerned about his bottom line than he is about his patients.

Dr Zimmerman has been my doctor since the mid 1990s. Being in my mid 60s it is best to to have a family doctor that specializes in Internal Medicine. Dr Zimmerman began monitoring my PSA when I turned 50 and when it reached 3.0 he referred me to a urologist. Prostate cancer was detected early and I am three years past the surgery today. Whenever I have an appointment my waiting time is never more than 5-10 minutes. It has always been that way. Highly recommend him!

Karl Zimmerman and Michelle Holman along with the rest of the staff are warm, caring and current on the latest medical information. They take their time with me and I never feel rushed. They take time to talk and answer questions and I feel very confident in their medical advice. My children, who have "outgrown" their pediatrician, are now patients.
