Dishonest Billing Practices
I saw this periodontist many years ago, and I’m just now getting around to writing a review. I have no qualms about the periodontal treatment I received, as it was excellent. But the incompetent billing staff repeatedly refused to cooperate with my insurance to provide the information needed for reimbursement. This lead to a billing dispute and an unfounded collection action by Smith that injured my credit for years. I should have did him but my work kept me too busy. So I would stay very far away from this periodontist practice unless money is no matter.

Amazing Experience fro start to finish!
One of the best health care experiences I have had! From the appointment process to the exit it was flawless, considerate and professional. Every member of the team knew what they were doing and did it well. Dr Smith was thorough and thoughtful and left me absolutely certain I received the best care!!! Do not hesitate to see him.

Great team and service
I have been attending this office for oral hygiene services for close to 5 years now and am always impressed by how organized, timely and professional services and staff are. Jill is always so pleasant and devotes time to providing oral health tips in a friendly way. Really appreciate that!

Recent Appointment
I always receive 5-star treatments when I go into Dr. Smith's office for an appointment. The staff is extremely courteous and professional. My dental technician on February 9 was Bisi and she did an outstanding job. She had such a gentle touch and made my cleaning so much more comfortable.

Great Practice
I have been seeing Dr. Smith for many years and he is helping me keep my teeth after a lifetime of smoking. He is a terrific periodontist and a terrific person. Everyone in his practice is great, from his practice administrator, Beverly, to his periodontal assistant, Tyler, and his hygienist, Jill. Jill does an extraordinary job of cleaning my teeth and screening for oral cancer. She is gentle and thorough and makes getting my teeth cleaned a pleasure, rather than an unpleasant experience. I highly recommend Dr. Smith and Jill. They are both the best!

I have seen Dr.Smith on numerous occasions and can honestly say that I have never seen a dentist as caring and compassionate as him. I had a dental emergency once, and he saw me after hours on the way to his sons ball game. The entire staff makes you feel like family, I am so glad I found Dr. Smith! He is a man of integrity and a heart of gold!

Very relaxed atmosphere with attentive staff. I live between two states and required a higher degree of care than trips to Florida afforded me. Once I started visiting Dr. Smith and team, I just started using them for all of my needs.

I get very anxious at the dentist and the whole idea of going is not my favorite. I heard about Dr.Smith from a friend, she claimed that he was really good and that they would help me through my fear. I am glad so say, Dr.Smith and staff are on another level (Katy, MJ). They are excellent and unlike all other dentists I have been to, they made me feel at ease and I was able to get my treatment done. I Can't say good enough things about this office. Do yourself a favor, visit Dr. Smith

My mother was referred to Dr. Smith due to gum issues. Making an apt. was super easy, and the staff was super friendly. We were welcomed with open arms, as coming to any dentist makes my mother uneasy. Our wonderful hygienists and Dr. Smith have made this entire process significantly easier to deal with, and they are very dedicated to their patients. The course of treatment has been highly effective and reasonably priced. Thank you to Dr. Smith & his wonderful staff for everything.

Rude and uncaring. I was referred to this loser by another dentist. He had trained his staff to redo unnecessary tests just so he can charge for them, not because they're needed. On my first visit, the staff said that the x-rays they received from the referring dentist were unreadable but they had a nice intro special for be new clients. Dr. Karl Smith and his staff are absolutely wonderful! I've had horrible experiences with dentists over the years. Contemplating dental implants, I didn't know where to go. I received a flier at my home and after reading online reviews, I decided to give Dr. Smith a try. It was the best decision ever! Everyone is friendly and professional. Pain management is outstanding. Both offices are clean and modern, with updated equipment. I highly recommend Dr. Karl Smith for quality dental services.

100% hands down best periodontist in the DMV and I have been to three. I have had gum grafts placed in 3 areas of my mouth. Each one was with a different office because of moving and also satisfaction with the office. I plan to have the fourth site done with Dr. Smith. The experience of the other two were much different and I had a sore roof of my mouth and when Dr. Smith did the last one, no pain. ZERO!. The staff helps a lot. They are AMAZING!

I have literally never had a worse experience in my entire life. I made an emergency appointment as a first time patient because I recently moved to the area and had an abscessed tooth. Upon verifying the infection via x-ray by a tech, the doctor refused to consult or speak with me in person and would not even prescribe an antibiotic. This place did NOTHING for me except send me away with a massive infection that landed me in the ER. Stay away from this place, it is a joke, and so is he.
