Dr. Kuwik listens to you and includes you in any decisions. My left knee has been giving me trouble for some time now. On my visit , Dr. Kuwik laid out all the options that were available to me as far as treatment . It was my decision to do what was best at the time.

I finally had my knees done after putting it off for many, many years. I am a retired nurse and remembered how total knees were treated back when I was working. This experience was so much better than I remember, I was able to put full weight on my leg the evening of surgery. Although I had some pain, the protocol that the doctor used, not only at the hospital, but also once I got home, made my recovery much more comfortable. I received excellent care from the doctor, his office, and the staff at St E’s Boardman and I would and have recommended them to friends and family.

Tolerating my severe knee pain for over five years, my primary doctor recommended Dr Kuwik because of his state of the art surgical expertise in total knee replacement. Now, two weeks post-op, I am thoroughly convinced he is the best of the best. I will be having my other knee done in a year and am looking forward to a life full of making happy memories again!

I met with Dr Kuwik regarding my knee that has been an ongoing issue for the past 30 years. After X-rays, he said it was one of the worst he’d seen. We talked and scheduled surgery which I had done at the surgery center. All of the staff there and Dr Kuwik were very friendly and professional. I am doing so well after 2 weeks and would highly recommend Dr Kuwik for any Orthopedic services needed.

Dr Kuwik performed knee revision surgery on both of my knees in 2023. My right knee is ok and acceptable (not perfect). My left knee he replaced is a total failure and was never right from the start. The cement has failed and the knee was not properly reinforced when it was replaced. I now have to have my left knee replaced again making this the 3rd time. My first left knee replacement failed as well. This has been a total nightmare and I live in constant pain. He failed to install a post up into the femur on my left knee, but he did on my right knee. Hence my review is a 2 star and he will not be replacing my left knee again, I have secured another surgeon.

Dr Kuwik is very manorable and has excellent bedside manner. He gives the best cortisone shots

Had knee surgery from a motorcycle accident my leg was worse than we thought when he opened it up and he was so kind and patient to do what he could with my severely broken knee cap. Always willing to listen and explain things to me. Thank dr kuwik your caring kindness definitely helps and is very appreciated

I made an appt to meet Dr. Kuwik and get his assessment of my extremely painful hip. I did not see him but was assigned to a nurse practitioner. I was very disappointed. In my opinion, the NP seemed to have an attitude as though she didn’t want to be examining me. I was not made to feel comfortable. This appt was not what I had hoped for.

Very clean place. Dr explained my options. Treated my problem as a temporary fix. Dr very thorough.

Dr Kuwik did my hip replacement in Dec of 2023. He explained everything thoroughly. His bed side manner is great. So lucky to have a great DR like him in the area. Going to be doing my 2nd hip replacement in Oct of 2024.

Replaced old knee. New knee works great. He was there for me throughout the pain, trials and tribulations until I came out the other side .

He took his time and talked to me. He reviewed my exrays and explained my treatment options. He was very friendly.
